& lurkers! Dua is here! Still hising at the boys and the boys at her. But we have progress, Mooz can be near her, little hissing and a growl but that's it. Meez is a big scardy cat... hides in the bed room. I let him and give him cuddles when i can.

Even without a beach. I'm not a fanatic kind of fan. I never waited outside hotels screaming, tried to chase anyone down. Famous talented people are just people. And while I've been sad or shocked over other famous peoples deaths, I never cried over any of them. Until now. There are songs I can't listen through right now because they hit so different.

Glad at least one kitty is starting to ease into knowing Dua. Hope it won't been too too long before they are friends.

Always so nice to meet other nurses! ❤ I love our work but definitely have considered more than once just quitting to run a cafe/bookstore over the past few years! Finally just got out of bedside into outpatient this year which has made a big difference.

Dua is doing great and the boys to! They are getting closer and i letting them to. But when i am away or sleep she goes into her own special room with the works. To small to leave alone with the boys. Meez is still hiding and mooz is curious.

Dua & the boys are doing great. They are now playing near each other and she gets closer to them, wee bit hissing but hardly any. Mooz is acting like big brother and keeps an eye on her laying close where she is. Meez still a bit scared but getting there, he is a scared cat. He does not want eat where he normally eats, so i bring it to him in my bedroom where he hides...

Happy monday and a mixed day as we remember 9-11... Day off for me so Alpaca day, we walked with them. Next week i will be alone, hope they wll behave lol!

I bought some old cheap food for Meez and he is finally eating at the old spot and his kibble...pff finally. Dua is coming out of her shell and was playing with Mooz this morning. He was a bit rough but she handled it ok. lol

My 9/11 activity was having a killer migraine all day. It might last two days for all I know XD

Reading Tweets about old tv episodes that make no sense because of the airport rules post 9/11 made me feel old XD

we don't do stuff around here (NL) at 9/11. I was in Orlando when it happend with my parents.. never forget.

I was joking about 9/11 activities. I feel it's become an easy way for politicians to pretend to care about something. So I like to avoid all things 9/11.

But I go on Twitter so...can't avoid everything.

I was a Freshman in High School when it happened. Think we watched some footage of it.

oh a joke... sorry i sometimes just don't understand it right.

I was almost 21 when it happend. We were just a day in Orlando and in Disney we where about to enter the pirates ride when we had to leave. We where in america as my dad became 50, they where married 25 years and me becoming 21.

&lurkers! I had a message of she is having some health issues :( she can't be on for a while.

It's okay. Sometimes jokes fly over my head too.

Plus online makes understanding sarcasm harder.

I was having coffee, watching the news for the weather when it was broken in about the first plane. I was in my mid 30s. I woke up my mom and called my dad who was already at work. We watched from that moment on. I didn't sleep for two or three days. The year prior my mom and I and my two brothers went to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and from Liberty park in New Jersey where we caught the ferries I took a picture of my mom and brothers with the towers in the background.

I was at work and one of the women was listening to the news on 9/11. Suddenly she took out her ear bud and turned it up so we could all hear. It was awful. I called my parents who had just been watching too. It was so eerie going outside and not seeing any planes at all, but I did see a couple of jets. Frightening day and all those poor people jumping out windows to get away from the fires. Horrifying.

I used to go to the YMCA and it was frightening learning that the two terrorists went to the same place. The same exact location.

Edit: Or it was a flight school close to my YMCA.

How we remember what we where doing that day amazes me. I hope Duckie will be better soon to. For now sending healing thoughts to her.

5 more shifts and then one and a half week off. I always take time off around my birthday (28 sep.) and now i got more then i asked for. Nice!

I was living in a different country during 9/11 but I remember it received quite broad coverage even there. Still horrifying to recall the videos they had played of the attacks & the ensuing chaos.

I heard from family when we where in Orlando they in the netherlands had a lot of coverage to.

1 day off and up way to early, 2 girl decided to do some boxing. Downstairs of our flat in the open parking spaces, it was a big echo... I was wondering what on earth on 7am was making so much noise... Went to talk to them, they walked away and do not even live in our flat.. wtf! I was home late from an evening shift and in bed at 1am... no fun..

My mom's birthday today. She is 89. We have plans to go out and then I'm making dinner. Since none of us eat much in the way of sweets anymore she decided she just wanted a donut (or two :) ) from Dunkin Donuts for her dessert. So we'll head out shortly to get those and bring them home and then go do the wandering she wants to do. The weather is just beautiful for being out again today.

So sorry your first vacay day was disturbed so early. Hope they don't do that every day and you can enjoy sleeping in.

That would be scary. But they are everywhere. I read that there is a big commune of extremists living here in Texas. I'm afraid because there are so many of them all over the US they will be changing our laws to reflect their freaking beliefs and not ours. They've already tried here. Should have never let them into the country.

Depression is exhausting. Sigh.
