[edit] You got a forum point while making a post! Why thank you!
ok Fail Topic: Went to plant some seeds in front garden a few weeks ago, lost balance and landed on rocks. Broke a tooth, bruises and skinned my forearm. I think I'm allergic to gardening. Note: Bruises now gone, going to see dentist, and arm is healing nicely. :)
I love to read, blog reviews, and take bookstagram photos (links to both in siggie). I'm currently listening to a lecture series on Jane Austen, her books, and the historical time period, so I'm rereading each book as I listen to the lectures on them.

(I'm also crazy about Indian cinema, and blog movie reviews as well; link to that blog is in my siggie, too.)
I don't usually have favorites of anything but I think I have two candidates for favorite book series right now.
First candidate for favorite series - the Murderbot series by Martha Wells
Starts with All Systems Red - continues with

This series is about a very angry and frustrated bio-mechanical construct person who is part human, part AI, and kind of a former slave to a corporation who has self-emancipated in secret. As a "security unit" this construct's job is to keep human clients safe, and that's very difficult because of human nature. But Murderbot would rather just watch serial dramas than do all that work, except then the human clients would probably die, and Murderbot won't let that happen.
Candidate two is the Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie

This one is about a ship called Justice of Toren who is part of an imperial fleet belonging to the Lord of the Radch, Anaander Mianaai, and later a person called Breq, who is what remains of that ship after the ship is destroyed. Breq finds one of her former crew officers in a bad situation and manages a rescue, after which this former crew officer follows her until she's given command of a new ship (Mercy of Kalr) and a new mission, at which time the former crew member becomes a new ship crew officer.
These series are both space opera of a sort, they are both written with ambiguously human/AI protagonists, but in many ways very different. Still, I'm sure the things they have in common are most of what appeals to me so much!
Hmmm. This is hard. My tastes change like every two weeks... LOL I suppose the one constant is my love for Wheel of Time. The TV series on Prime stinks, but the books were a large part of my young adulthood. I started reading them as a teen and the last book was published after I'd had my child! Even the original author had died! I even have a WoT fan pet, Aes Sedai So, I'm going Wheel of Time.

I'm reading Heartstopper at the moment and really enjoying it, also loved the show as well!! 💕
I really enjoyed reading and finishing My 19th Life this year soon to be a drama as well
Oh media is fun! I will share what I am currently indulging in these days <3
Books:
Podcasts:
Games:
Shows:
Currently my Favorite song is Now That We're Alone by The People's Thieves Youtube Link | Spotify link
I'm still obsessed with The Mighty Nein Origins - Caleb Widogast and for every CR fan i can recommend it!

My current music passion is the accapella group VoicePlay. When I'm on the computer and after I've caught up on any other creators (currently mostly lawyers, drag race related or weather related) I follow, I put on my VP playlist if I still have stuff to do. They are definitely under appreciated in the accapella group world. Their latest is an accapella cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. It's so good. They do a lot of show stuff (They've done Wicked, Moana, Little Mermaid, The Greatest Showman compilations) and gaming (Halo theme, The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim) and pop/rock stuff as well. Just search YT for them. They are worth it.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
My favorite book is Harry Potter, I'm interested in mysterious and magic books and so it's my type of book.
Media: Video Games count: I'm at catalog level 89 of Splatoon 3, and there's only 100, so I can get all the cool stuff well before the season ends next month.

If it doesn't, well, podcasts, I'm listening to the latest episode of We Hate Movies, ironically, on Black Adam, on this, the day that James Gunn reveals some of his new DCEU plan...
