I'm sorry to hear that. My adopted brother (my adopted moms biological son) was almost 9 years older than me so he was barely in my life before he left at 17, we are still close. Similarly my adopted dad was my best friend and the best parent (until I was about 13) I had. But it's okay, we survived this all hugs

Thank you, I finally got meds again today. However I'm nervous about one of the meds my doctor gave me because it's got such a stigma about it but I'm sure it will help, she knows what she's doing :)

I am very close! And I think with some backlog from events I missed, like Keelhaul and Moro, there's probably still a handful of items from those I didn't get yet. Some achievements are a lot of work! I set a goal to get some more done this year. I set a bunch of smallerish Subeta goals, like feeding my pet and collecting some event items I missed.

But then my friends stopped hanging with me and I was lonely and needed some way to interact. Enter Subeta. I wound up getting involved in Wayward Squirrels and thus began my first foree into RP and I've been hooked ever since.

- boundaries are hard sometimes. Hugs I'm reading an old spy thriller.The specific book is "The Wrecking Crew". It's the 2nd book in the Matt Helm series by Donald Hamilton. The first 19 books are free on Audible right now. XD I should say that I have a sub with Audible that may mean the books show for free to me but may turn up pay for peeps w/out a sub. It's a good read so far. Very 60s spy sheik. :D

- He's done both my recent HAs. He's better at dress up dolls than he wants to admit. What is it with men and these hang ups? lol 😂

- he will soon enough. My kids used to look under the tree the day after Christmas to see if anything was left behind. Then, months later, they would play "Christmas." lol 😂

- My youngest son is 10 years younger than my oldest son. That big of a gap does make it difficult to have any kind of sibling relationship. I would catch my oldest acting more like a parent towards my youngest than a brother. :) We made it and will keep going strong! :D <3

- Those kind of stories was why I'd waited so long. We both thought it would be a "Jerry Springer" experience. I did get a surprise with my heritage. I'd been told since I was very little that I was Welsh and Irish. Turned out that was only two parts of my British heritage that is only half of the total. I had no idea I was Ukranian or anything like that. When I did the test I joked w/my hubby that it would tell me I was half Russian. Oh, the irony. XDXD lmao You should try it! :D

Did you do anything special for your birthday? I feel so bad I missed it. I feel like it's a rough day to have a birthday on. My SIL's birthday is December 26th and she's told me it always gets lost in the holidays.

yep that's pretty much what I did. It's a lot of fun. Theres no groups that I'm in currently on Subeta that are active at the moment but I'm sure there are other sites and stuff :) I just popped in and say, hey can i join? And then if so I make a character and go lol.

- oh, they certainly will tell you what's what in that respect. They break it down into percentages and can tell you what side of the family things came from. :D

Heya guys, just checking in after a long. 2022 was...whew...quite a year. I'm hoping this year will be better. I still probably won't be too active here (changing my HA mostly), so I might take awhile to respond. (Anxiety, lovely) I'm mostly playing Final Fantasy XIV now, haha.
