I did! I might get them printed sometime. One was of my great-uncle playing a guitar with a relative I never met. It was pretty cool. He ways always playing instruments. Oh, that's really cool! That's quite a way to trace back a family line.

I got bored with Bling Ring and this morning started watching The Last Airbender because keeps telling me it's good. I feel like I saw it years ago but so far I can't remember if I did or not.

That's understandable! I used to thing scary movies were, like, pointless/plotless & just an excuse to be gory/weird until I saw some I really enjoyed. Yeah, it just really, really good. I don't know how many times I've watched it. I rewatch stuff a lot, especially if I really enjoyed it. The Last Airbender is great! is totally right about that.

I can't watch many things over and over. I always think I will but it rarely happens. I have seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show about 20 times. And various Judge Judy as my daughter has to watch it every day no matter how many times she's seen it. :-D

I have ADHD, so I think sometimes it manifests as a bit of a hyperfixation on things for awhile. Rocky Horror is one of those movies I've seen a lot! I'm not even sure how many. I do remember I watched it 8 times the first time we even rented it, haha. Haha, my roommate in college watched Judge Judy every day. Do you at least enjoy Judge Judy, too? You and your daughter must be experts!

My daughter has ADHD too and I agree about the hyperfixation on things. She really loves something and doesn't care too much about lots of things. Strangely enough I like Judge Judy and I steal from her often. rotfl! I'll say to my hubs or Liz, "it's either YES or NO" 😂 Do you think your ADHD holds you back in life? I ask because on reflection I may have a mild case of it too but they didn't diagnose when I was growing up. I never can seem to finish things and feel like I should have accomplished a lot more when I was younger. :-P

Everyone Yesterday I called and mom said the doctors said they believe they got it all when they removed the tumor in her liver last time and so far they have not found anything else yet but they are keeping a close eye on her! So good news!

Yeah :) He's the first one of my family I came out to and he may mess up sometimes but he attempts to call me by my preferred pronouns and legal name I changed to (him, his family and my aunts family are the only ones of my family who do)

Haha, I remember Judge Judy being really popular and people quoting her a lot. That's so funny. Sometimes I do, yeah! I'm almost 32, so I'm still fairly young, but I feel like it made a lot of things more difficult than they could have been. Like, college and jobs and friendships. My mom actually just got diagnosed like a month or two ago at 56-years-old, and she's finding that taking ADHD medicine is helpful for her! I think learning more about ADHD (and other neurodivergences) has changed my perspective on things overall, though. Like, our culture/society really pushed people to "achieve a lot" or always be working and doing something, and that's just unrealistic and leads to burnout and unhappiness, y'know? But in short, yes! Haha. I think it has greatly impact me in a lot of ways.

Oh, that is really cool! It is fascinating to see how much things change, and not even be able to recognize places anymore. My town at it's 250th birthday recently and they did a big celebration and there were a lot of old photos because of it.

Thank you, and it really depends state to state. For me I was in Washington State when I changed my name and it's as easy as going in to a public court, paying like $200 (at the time it could be more now, it was like seven years ago almost) fill out what you want your name to be, your old name, why your changing it and then wait inline for the judge to see you and then for me he just asked me if I was changing my name for any nefarious reasons I say no and he say something along the line of this state recognizes dead name as new name; then you get your paperwork and go home! For other states I know it's a lot harder to change your name if you're transitioning :(

No. All day yesterday I was so sick at work :( I'm giving this med one more shot today on my day off but if I'm still feeling too bad I'm going off it and letting my doctor know I just can't. If I'm at home it's okay if I'm sick I can run to the bathroom all day but at work we have limited bathroom breaks so it's harder and plus I could barely stand yesterday :(

Yeah it's very good news :) But her family does have a history with it so it may come back or they may of missed something hence why they are doing another test

But you did finish college? I feel like you did. I couldn't stick with it. Plus, supporting myself while going was hard. So I'm not sure why I didn't ever finish. I had so many dreams of doing graphic designing but things were a lot different then. (No internet) That's great the ADHD meds are helping your mom. Liz takes them too - otherwise she's all over the place.

I did finish college. I think my situation was kind of unique in that I had a rocky home life growing up, so school was sort of an escape for me so I always enjoyed and focused a lot on school. But it was like the only thing I could do, you know? Like, doing coursework and having a job was tough, one usually suffered. Or, having classes and making friends or whatever. Have you thought about taking a class now? Like, maybe a community college type thing to check it out? Even if it's just for fun. I'm hoping to try medicine for ADHD, but my psychiatrist was more concerned about the amount of anxiety I have last I went. But, I think ADHD can often cause a lot of anxiety in people, so I don't 100% get why she'd put off looking into ADHD stuff, y'know? I plan on talking to her next time about it more.

Honestly, no. lol I might need to take my least favorite medication tomorrow if it won't let up
