That sounds like a fun way to pass the time looking out the window hehe :P "what will it be this time?!" :P the only time I really look out my window is if its like non stop snowing :o like a few weeks ago I kid you not it snowed for like over 24 hours...it was crazy...I do like watching the snow fall though :P And yeah I feel so bad for him having to do this...he does love this job a lot more than all the warehouse jobs he's had in the past (they SO abuse employees) and now with all this inflation/ships stuck/whatever warehousing would have been a NIGHTMARE right now. So I'm really glad this job doesn't stress him out as much AND he was just a "sub" where he filled in for one day every week for the route he's on...but he recently got accepted for a full time position at another location (but still working out the details at the moment LOL) but he should hopefully start that within a few weeks and then he won't have to try to fill in for folks wanting days off LOL he'll have plenty of work :P And he's got two jackets he wears on top of each other and one of those weird face masks that covers the head/ears/mouth? lol XD Keeps him fairly warm :) Oh yes! I'm totally a 70's degree kind of girl too! I could even go up to 80 and still be fairly comfortable...its when it gets in the 100's its not as much fun, especially if you live in a humid state LOL! Fall out here only really lasted till like end of October...then it was starting to get too cold LOL I do like going for walks and such but in our town we like don't have sidewalks (which is so weird to me) LOL XD so its less fun when you are say walking with your kids :) Honestly the winters here are not as bad as I thought they'd be...they are still cold/suck but I was expecting a whole lot more snow. Granted there's still a few more months left so I might be wrong haha :)

- i'll take that as a compliment as you're only as old as you feel. ;) my illness has given me a very good look at my own mortality and it has taught me that the cliche "life is short" is a cliche for a reason. :D - i have looked into dragon naturally speaking (it's endorsed by my screen reader's company) and it's on my short list of programs. scrivener is another one. right now we're comparing costs and budgeting. as soon as we decide which one is the best choice i'm going to give it a trial run. :D - i love gaming. when i lost my eyesight i was devestated. so when i found i could play subeta with my screen reader of course i'd stick around. lol:D i am excited for survival. i love zombies and anything spooky. once i left neopets for subeta i never went back because i kept hearing horror stories about how they were trying to monetize everything. as for subeta and the user/pet names being stolen, subeta took the most lucrative path it could have. at first they were deleting accounts if they were inactive for at least 9 months. reason was to free up server space and no one complained. this evolved into todays practice of selling user/pet names to those willing to pay for them if the account had been idle for a year.no one was asked then so it's no surprise that no one's asked now. i have no idea if there is a provision covering this in subeta's terms of service. probably is, i don't care. it still would have been nice to at least been notified./end subeta whining. :D

There were so many theories about what happened to her but I'm guessing it was just a tragic accident. :-( OMG this is so funny! Liz and I were checking out at our local grocery store and were in the line of our favorite checker. (This really goofy guy named Gary.) We've been to his apartment quite a few times as he's always having goofy little parties. And whenever he sees Liz he yells "Hi Liz" even if we're at the back of the line. So he starts telling me about a pizza party he's throwing in March and invites us to come. Then he's saying it's going to be a horror party with pizza. And he keeps saying "horror" So I say "hey quit calling me names" and the guy in the line behind us overheard it all and was dying laughing. 😂

I'm so sorry that you lost your eyesight :( That has to be one of the hardest things a person could possibly go through. I had never even heard of a screen reader until you mentioned it in your last post so I had to Google it and read up on them :O Oh yes, Neopets is a MESS but honestly, so is Subeta. I pretty much just keep my Neopets account active because I worked so so hard on it when I was active. I can't let it go lol. OH WOW! I wasn't around when they were deleting accounts like that :O Woah! Honestly, they should do that now with extremely old inactive accounts. My friends and I talk about it often how inactive accounts just have items rotting on them, I think after a certain point (like 5-10+ years) they should be completely cleared, and I'm sure it would help clean up the site as well. But that, of course, is just my opinion. I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me 😂

ahhh okay! Well I would definitely recommend dragon if you have trouble seeing because of course speech to text....I am familiar with Scrivener but I am familiar with it as a writing program? Like you can plot stories into it and such (I've used it before and its SUPER complicated LOL) like aka you need to spend a lot of time getting familiar with the program and like having to google "how" to do things (which I found frustrating!). Another one I use if you are just looking to like plot stories and have like a timeline/keep track of characters etc is called Plottr and its pretty nice. I mean you can't write in that program of course but I believe you can print out your outlines after you create them and then just write in word or google docs. Word document subscription also I believe has a speech to text button too (I believe you have to have the monthly scription for it) but if you are looking to save money I know many writers use that feature (I haven't yet though I have the option on my laptop) I just tend to prefer my slower desktop lol :)

okay current date it is then LOL! We got a variety of dishes :P Steak fajitas for two (which we'll eat tonight LOL) and some kind of mexicano burrito, taco salad and trio of enchiladas (which we split) :P I didn't end up eating part of my burrito though because I was full from my half of the taco salad/half of the enchiladas...they have these like white, green, red sauce on the trio ones...its all yum! We always eat the steak fajitas next day cause we can just heat up the tortillas and voila its fresh LOL :) your thai sounds like its delicious...pretty sure we don't have those types of restaurants out here though LOL! but the trout sounds delicious, yum! What are you having tonight?

I agree! I've worked in retail quite a bit too and almost never had a manger that was nice. I've often wondered if being a jerk was a managerial requirement.

I think it is LOL! With my last manager before I left, she was wonderful as HR then she was promoted to manager and it changed her. I think management positions are just so stressful and it turns them into assholes. Which sucks >_< I get it though, when I'm stressed I'm a complete ass.

You could be right. Years ago I read some theory or a book that said that generally companies promote the jerks. I can't remember much more than that but your old manager, that was nice, proves that wrong. I just Goggled it and got this and it sort of makes sense. "Toxic people like to compete. They want to win, and they can become obsessed with being "the best." So they brag about themselves and belittle others. And while their toxic behavior may be obvious to some people in the office, their boastfulness may get them seen by others."
