- i'm sorry to hear about your degenerative disks. i don't know your situation and don't want to pry but there is something besides what you noted. i have ddd (degenerative disk disease) in my lower back. the stroke exacerbated it. two days ago my pain management doctor did a procedure on my right lower back (they have to do it one side at a time) that fried the pain nerves that were the biggest culprits. it's called radio frequency ablation. it's a same-day non-invasive proceedure and takes only about an hour.it will take 2-4 weeks to feel complete relief and the relief will last 56-19 months . talk to your doctor to see if this is a viable solution for you. i do have to say that now, 2 days after the proceedure, my right lower back isn't hurting. :D

- it is wonderful to meet up with someone else that understands my gibberish. if i ever get anything actually written then i'll have you beta read it and tell me how much trash it is. rofl :Di lived in a house like that once. it had the suicide stairs but with a railing. my kids used to slide down them on a crib mattress. none of them would go in the basement, either. the basement was half field stone covered in cement that had, in parts, crumbled. this part of the basement was the foundation for the original house. it had a freakishly big, old furnasce in it. then, behind the stairs they cut a doorway into the newer basement. it was made of cinderblock on a concrete slab. there was nothing in this part of the basement but the washer and dryer. but over in the older basement a previous owner installed a full bathroom. would any of the kids use it if the main one was occupied? nope. my oldest dubbed it the ghost bathroom and so they were all afraid of it. rolls eyes kids! rofl :D

It's ridiculous how much it is for people have surgeries they need to survive or to fix an issue. I'm so sorry you have to live like this :( Even if you are used to it, it still sucks so much. I hope you're having a good day today <3 hugs

WTH I'd have been like uh no :P like stairs like that are awful...one they suck to climb....two....getting stuff/big stuff like furniture up and down those are a bloody nightmare! and that sounds hilarious on the basement! Honestly it doesn't sound TOO bad...I mean cinderblocks and or concrete? like that's an upgrade to some of the "dirt" basements ya know? lol we had two of the kids down there in the summer and there was a potty/broken shower (like there's this weird glass stain thing around it all busted up lol) with a washer/dryer down there...though there's no door but its around a corner so they could use it XD the boys used it but even if my hubby is pooping and I have to pee and I'm like dude hurry up and I won't go down there myself haha! :P I don't think its a ghost basement or anything but its cold/creepy lol :P it wouldn't be so bad if the basement got finished out/made some rooms out of all the space and you know made it look like an upstairs vs a downstairs lol

Hey brat!! ;-) Liz and I did power shopping today. Costco, Fred Meyer (like a Walmart), Dollar Tree, Big Lots and Walmart. And all after I picked her up from work today. And then we walked the dogs. Agreed. I am thankful my wrist surgery was written off. He knew I couldn't afford it, but I paid him what I could :) I've more or less made peace with it to be honest.

it must be a universal thing with kids and bad ideas and hubby's being the "head" kid instigating that crap haha! Mine does that type of stuff too LOL! I like don't mind pooing in front of like my hubs/daughter and even my own son but my stepkids? not a chance lol :P and my son will run away because he'll be like MOMMMMMM! haha! If I really had to go like that second I'd probably go downstairs but then its like walk across the house, walk down the stairs, walk back across the house LOL and haha an area for contraband :P

Em does NOT do surprise recolors :P so if you want you'll have to come up with colors yourself and I'll order them ROFL :P Though I do appreciate artists that do because yeah mind blank :P

He is feeling better, still has some drainage though. I'm now congested and I think whatever he has I have it now too. Gotta love colds haha. My ankle is a lot better, I think it healed fully last month sometime.

- i told hubby if one of the kids got hurt on the stairs, he was taking them to the er. didn't stop them. lol :P as we step away from public pooing... ever wonder where some of those weird doors in basements lead? when i was little , the house we lived in had a door that looked like every other door except it was tiny. it was just the right size for a little kid to go through. problem i had was that it was locked and no one would tell me what was behind it. my younger brother used to steal my barbies and sit them in front of the door knowing i'd never go close enough to snatch them back. years later i found out the door was just to the crawl space and it was kept locked so no one could get in the house that way.

not yet :P but when its time haha :) I'll totally draw a blank when its time LOL :P

I draw blanks when getting recolors too 😂 It's been really helpful posting TGC asking for suggestions that and it gives me a chance to release somethings that people want :3
