I started the Masked Singer last night. Jenny looks like she's had major cosmetic surgery. I kind of thought maybe Nicole too. I'll have to check out Below Deck as I've never seen it. Our last BB was celebrities and it was not good.
Same, though XD
Things (life) feeling any easier? I just ate some avocado and some Sanders Sea salt Caramel Chocolates so I'm pretty happy. LOL
- we have an old kenmore stove/oven. i don't think the thing will ever break. lol probably only because i'm not allowed to use it. lmao 😂 we are getting hammered by a lovely late winter storm. came at us straight across the appalachain mountains and it's headed north. we've got snow and sleet and it's below freezing so it's all going to turn into a big sheet of ice. glad i don't have to be out in it. :D
- if i remember correctly, lucifer is set in los angeles. i've seen it and it was good. didn't realize it had new seasons. i'll have to hunt it down. :D
- :( you've got to be kidding. i know we're in different states but holy freaking hell. you should move up here. i have very good insurance but every step of the way social services has been on my heelsjust waiting for the opportunity to sign me up for medicaid. they aren't that way down there? i'm very thankful that the military gives their retirees and their families very good insurance but even if i didn't have any i would still be covered, especially for the diabetes. it's a shame that there is such a difference between how the states act towards their citizens. i agree with diana , everyone should have medical coverage regardless of their situation. i hope you have found the right doctor for you and that you'll feel better soon. ❤
Kenmore appliances are the best!! I hate that I got rid of mine because we remolded the kitchen about 10 years ago and the appliances didn't look right. :-P Sorry about your weather but I kind of knew by your HA!! :-D Stay inside where it's nice and warm! I hate to say this but it's currently 58 here and the rain hasn't started yet. But when it does it will rain for the next 5 days. ugh!
Wow, it does work out very perfectly! How many strains did you manage to get?
I don't plan on leaving again :D I realized how much I missed the site and my friends here. How've you been? I'm sure a ton has happened since we last chatted. What's one good thing that's happened recently? :)
- well, dig them out of the recycle pile. lol you could probably find used ones if yu ever need to replace the ones you have now. although i don't know anyone who'd part with theirs. :P oh, i changed my ha yesterday before it even started snowing. i just wanted the survival ha to go away. i'm zombied out. i'm going to go wrap my heated blanket around me and listen to a zombie murder mystery. :D ❤
I'm so happy you're back and plan on sticking around!! :-) Really everything is good and I can't complain about much. Ok besides the fact that I turned into a little old lady over night somehow. :-D My daughter is doing well and recently got transferred and she loves the new location. (She works at a Mod Pizza) Since I've talked to you my rottie crossed the Rainbow Bridge but I rescued a chihuahua. The chihuahua is evil but Liz (my daughter) adores him. The people at the vet's office call him The Tiny Terror. LOL!! How are you? How's the job going these days? I'm guessing you moved on from the - was it managing a community center for kids? Or are you still there?
:-D Zombied out says the person going to listen to a zombie book. Probably listening to Rob Zombie. 😂
Oh wow that’s amazing :O I hate that anything medical in this country costs a fortune. I’m so sorry you were going through that :( I’ve definitely noticed some odd things with being on Medicaid. I had to get on it because my husband switched jobs before we knew I was pregnant with Harper and the new place he was working at had barely any insurance. Literally 0 prenatal coverage at all. So we have the kids on it too and every time I take them to doctor for their check ups I have to answer these ridiculous questions basically making sure I’m a good mother and taking care of my children properly when I never had to do that before when I was on my husbands insurance.
Yeah that is outrageous >_< They are doing good!! How are you and Liz today? :3
That sounds so delicious drools How’s it going today??
Yes! That’s the one :) They just released the very last season a few months ago. It ends really really good, I cried like a baby 😂
it's my first day without any appointments or meetings or anything all day, in quite a while ! I really am enjoying it.
Your HA with the giraffe is really cute! the makeup works so well too :D
I agree. I've been treated so badly. It really depresses me. thanks. I still deal with it too :/
well I've tried to apply but every time I do, I was told I don't qualify. In fact, I've even been told I don't make enough money to qualify. :/ Thanks. He's started me on several new meds but the one I'm really pleased about its for the neuropathy in my feet. I am hopefully they'll finally stop hurting me so much all the time. I'm always in pain, so it would be nice to not be in pain for once. And to get my sugar under control would be good too. The meds I was on apparently aren't good and clearly weren't controlling it.
red tape is the favourite thing of bureaucrats :/ I'm glad you got some help though <3
Same, it saved us or we would be in so much debt right now DX But luckily in the next couple of weeks I and the kids will both have normal insurance again woooo! Good morning :3 I’m tired. I wanna go back to sleep lol
oh thats great xd
Me too. Ugh. At least my pup has a chew stick so thats a few moments of peace lol
If it would stop snowing I'd be happier, lol.
Dawww! How is Melody doing? :3 Still eating rocks? XD
i bought her a snuffle mat and hid her lunch in to so at the moment she seems to be foraging there and not outside lol but not sure if it will last
Oh! Are those the things to help them eat slower? :O
no not specifically. This looks a lot like grass but its made out of fabric. Think of it as a fabric version of grass lol and with those ribbons of fabric i can hide food so she can sniff through it and find food. I can show a picture later when im not on my phone if you wish
there is its. She does have a slow feeding bowl though :) as well.
- says the gal who's going to listen to a zombie murder mystery while rob zombieplays in the background while wearing a hoodie with a zombie on the back.lmao! ok, you caught me. i'm not zombied-out. they're my favorite monster. i socialized-out. i'm not even sure that's a word. it is now, dang it. lol 😂 i hope your sunday was fun. :D ❤
- wow, i didn't realize it was that long since i'd seen it. i think i saw it a couple of years ago and now they've ended it? hmmmmm 😔
- they told you you're too poor to qualify for federally funded state medical insurance? how is that even possible? honey, you come up here and we'll get you all taken care of. that's not right. i am glad they got you on some good medicine, though. the pills they give me for the neuropathy is lyrica. it works wonders for the creepy bug feeling. my docs have me on 2 different insulins. one slow acting and the other fast acting for meals. did your new doc do that? now, if i could just hide the jelly beans from myself i'd be awesome. lol ;) ❤
yep. I don't even have words to explain how frustrated I am/was about trying to get aid. he put me on gabapentin for the neuropathy. Mum's on lyrica. I start the second pill tomorrow so I am hoping it'll cut that feeling down. I hate it all day/all night. Nope. He started me on actos and Jenuvia for diabetes. though it was uncontrolled it was below a 9 so we don't needa do insulin yet. I'm trying to avoid it at all costs lol.
well its good to have a bit of sugar or you'll binge when you do cave in lol and let's face it, we all cave in ;)
