Has the storm passed yet? And did the bottomless pit save you any pizza? One time when I lived in Atlanta we were supposed to get a rare snow storm so I went to Taco Bell and bought like one of everything and when the storm hit I didn't mind cause I was prepared! :-D

I Googled lagging on ropes and didn't find it. Sounds very interesting! I finally remembered to get on AC this morning to buy turnips. I spent almost all of my Bells but I saved 20k for emergencies. ROTFL!!

I just had the busy week from you know where. But my daughter's respite caregiver that now comes for 3 hours on Sundays is here so I'm playing on subeta. Woohoo!! I hope you're getting some spare time this weekend too!

It's angel hair pasta, with scrambles eggs in it and some other things I can't remember lol It's so good though! I have never known what it is called but it is typically at Chinese Buffets ^0^ IT'S SO YUMMY! Ugh I really want Chinese food again lol I still have haunting images of that basement in my head LOLLLL! Reminds of a scene from a horror movie. Finished basement is the way to go for sure 😂 <3

- the only stand alone book by joe abercrombie that you should get a copy of is sun country. it furthers the story of logan nine-fingers. as for glokta, i've done some searches but the internet isn't disability -friendly even though it thinks it is. i had to stop looking before my headache got worse. i think there's a short story about him in "sharp ends" but i can't remember the name of the specific story. when my hubby drags himself back into the land of the living i'll ask him as he does most of my searches.:) so far "feed" has been engaging. i like the fact that the author isn't afraid to kill her darlings.it does have me wondering if all news bloggers are like the ones in the story because of the old adage that you should write what you know about.

i completely understand you hording taco bell before a snow storm. one of my ultimate wishes involves a snow stormand several bottomless boxes of chinese food. oh, and a good book.

hmm weird I haven't been to a chinese buffet in forever but I don't recall that type dish when we DID go LOL! If we are lucky we'll get a concrete one so its not like you know 'dirt' cause that freaks me out :P concrete freaks me out less but we'd have to save to "complete" the basement LOL XD That's okay though :P

Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Larissa Ione, Karen Marie Moning (she's my favorite of all time....Highlander type books and Urban Fantasy with her Fever series), Kim Harrison, Sherrilyn Kenyon, G.A. Aiken (who's also Shelly Laurenston) but that series is mainly dragons/fantasy romance, Laurann Dohner, R.E. Butler, Keri Arthur, Darynda Jones, Richelle Mead are some authors I have enjoyed <3

Oh of that list I have read Briggs, Armstrong and Harrison. I don't really enjoy that exact kind of book much anymore, the characterizations and concepts were starting to blur together somehow, but I did like them all for a while enough to read 3-5 books each.

totally makes sense :) If books blur together for me because I'm reading a LOT...what I normally do is like read something in another genre (say historical) and then start the other series again and get into it.....but sometimes things can bleed together if I'm reading a LOT of books LOL :) So that's my normal solution XD
