To anyone : So I'm finally able to say what I've been avoiding. My three month old puppy that we adopted on the 23rd of November suddenly started acting ill on Sunday night. Melody she was still sick Monday night. So we had made another trip up to Atlanta on Tuesday. It's a 2 hour trip one way, so you can imagine it's been a stressful week. On Monday they said they'd done a parvo test, I don't know if there was a mistake or something but on Tuesday the vet said they definitely ran a parvo test on and it was positive. The shelter is treating her. We've been praying for her and keeping her in our thoughts. It's been tough and i've been in tears a lot (having still trying to deal with the loss of my 13 year old dog a month ago, we got Melody to help so it's been really rough.) but been given some tentative good news the last two days that there was no decline and she seemed to be holding strong. This morning we've gotten a cautiously optimistic report. She's actually taken some food. So we are very pleased to hear this. if you would keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers we'd be grateful.

Oh my goodnesssss! I will keep sweet Melody in my thoughts <3 <3 My mother in law had a puppy with parvo and she made a complete recovery <3 She is the sweetest little doggo now! I hope the same will happen with Melody too :3 What kind of puppy is she? My MIL's is a chihuahua. You know, that would be nice! Like if they had different category limits or something. Spend 100k, 500k, 1mil, etc....

First off, I'm so sorry for the pet struggles! :-( I truly understand as I lost my dog son 2 months ago. He was 11.5 and because he was a Rottweiler that's considered a normal life span but it still hurts so bad!! I will keep you and Melody in my thoughts and prayers! I sure hope she will be ok!! 🙏 I got extra lucky with my daughter as I can be an impatient person and she's so sweet and patient. :-)
