guess so :) aww i'm so glad he survived it as well. It's pretty scary to deal with but I'm so happy Melody is okay :) yeah but I can't do everything because I no longer have 7 days. The shelter needs the space so I am getting her tomorrow. But our vet said there's no need to quarantine her since we don't have any other dogs. So that makes me happy. I've got her bowls and such in the dishwasher and after its done I'm runnign a clean cycle on it :D

LOL actually I kinda forgot about Melody here--so on the first I was a little upset because my puppy was still at the vet and i was still very worried about her. I picked Melody for a few reasons. One I love Doctor Who and one of my favourite characters is River Song, who's name is also Melody Pond. I was chatting with a friend and she mentioned her sister named her piano Melody and why and I was like hmm Melody. I'd been circling many seasonal names like Holy, Ivy, etc but nothing was really sticking. But I loved Melody because I love music and songs. And it was Christmasy without screaming Christmas.

That’s so strange they told you that about the kitties and then was like never mind come get her. The heck 😅 But either way I’m glad she gets to come home 😍 Yayyyyy!! Is parvo something that is contagious? Is that why you can’t have other dogs around for awhile? :O

So he just came out for like 10 mins and looked at the issue. We have to call and make an appointment with their remodel plumber today for him to come out and access the damage on the flooring. They can’t replace the toilet until the flooring is done, which makes sense. But for the toilet replacement it’s gonna be about $900 for the new toilet and installation. SMH. Just ridiculous. We’re hopeful our insurance will help with some of the flooring costs though crosses fingers

usually it just causes respiratory problems, he gave it to our other two but we keep it under control with lysine daily and they're both fine. But for him it caused digestive issues that have gradually worsened over the years and he has had trouble keeping food down the whole time we have had him. He eats small amounts of specific prescription food often and has to take small doses of antacid and steroids four times a day too.
