Finished it tonight, and will be surprising my mum with it tomorrow. Hope she will like it. First time making a twist ear band/warmer and doing that kinda "braids" on a project.

Looking at the video, I think the camera movement wouldn't work for me (I get on better with a static camera where the character moves, rather than the camera following behind them) ;)

I'm kind of running on fumes today - yesterday afternoon the neighbour decided to have some mates round.... by the evening, we could hear them talking & laughing (guessing they'd had several drinks by that point) so loud that to start with, I thought Dad had the tv on loud upstairs o.O Eventually they stopped at about midnight, but of course then I took a heck of a long time to actually settle enough to fall asleep :K

the bases seem to be broken so might not have mattered for you? yeah that might be an issue. ugh I'm sorry.

nods it seems to be the trend for games to have the camera following the action - I guess they feel it makes it more like you're part of the game rather than watching from the sidelines?

The car that was on his drive has gone, and someone else seemed to go in a taxi, so I'm hopeful that it'll be back to 'normal' this evening! It wouldn't have been so bad if he'd just said he was going to have some mates round & that they could get a bit rowdy, so we weren't caught unawares.... last time he had mates round he let us know the day beforehand, and even pointed out that because they'd all had bad colds, they weren't going to stay too late!

Well I did play Evanescence pretty loud on the keyboard while Mum & Dad were having lunch - I had the CD and keyboard turned up louder than normal, just as a special "treat" for that neighbour 😇 Really, I wanted to put a loud cd on at about 10am just to annoy the neighbour, but Mum & Dad hadn't gone out at that point :K

I had both windows open in my room 😇 but I'm hopeful that the sound can carry through the brick dividing wall between the houses, seeing as that's how the noise from his house reached ours last night ;)

Hmm.. hard to explain but I had to slip/drop two stiches almost all the way down. and then use a crochet hook to make the braids. :)
