This is a great idea. Might actually make having a gallery worthwhile, and it'd make the shops more distinguished too.

Some code things I would LOVE are the removal of inline CSS, no (or less) '!important' in the CSS, added code for screen size responsiveness, and no tables (inline divs are SO much easier to alter!). Using the minimum amount of containers within containers would also make the page much easier to alter, as there would be less redundant padding/margins. It would also be great to have easier ways for those less code-savvy to alter colours and backgrounds for things. Having most things centered by default would make my OCD happy too...

Basic+Extra info - Full support for Pronouns, and the other lovely things mentioned. Checkboxes to alter what you want shown/hidden would be great. Social media links and such are nice too.

Pets - Checkboxes for which are shown per Pet section added, the ability to reorder them, and a nice way to add descriptions to each section. For those that like to organise their many many pets into defined sections.

It doesn't make sense to display trophies when the site is more achievement-oriented. Tbh I'd love to see more trophies but that's a total aside. :'D I think choosing to show achievements you like would be cool. Battle stats for battling people too?

A top 5 friends like how MySpace did! I know we're able to favorite friends in a pull tab way but it'd be cool to have them on display in my profile and also easier to access.

I like the last.fm widget and when I visit profiles I always check to see if it's there and what that person has been listening too. I know not a huge amount of people use it, but I wanted to voice that I do!

I would simply like it easy to move items up and down. Mine keeps adjusting itself so much I give up and it is hard to move something. As far as what I'll take what is offered.

I'd love to be able to group pets into different modules directly in my profile! I'm sick of the same buttons I've used for probably over a decade but the default option just isn't great.

My profile is really minimalist right now because I won a super cute layout so I worked with it. However, I would love to have more customization and more ability to show off specific achievements, collections, etc in a more interesting way.

I'm pretty happy with the profile as is, however it would be nice to have "preferred pronoun" instead of "gender" in the basic user info.

I use the original one unaltered except for background (the pic vanished from the upload site long ago... :-( ) and find it perfect. I'd HATE to lose anything displayed there.

Better profile block in general, it's not even centered anymore. It's all squished to the left on my end. Overall, I have no idea what to add that would be new. Maybe I will think of something later.

Just make it so that, after the changes, we can still use our pre-update custom profile codes without everything exploding in our faces and I'll be happy with whatever you (or the user base) are coming up with.

Achievement showcase - that's been broken for years and we have no way to actually show or showcase the site achievements we've earned. I'd love to be able to show some of the achievements I've earned over the years! Basic interests - it's been dead for 12 years, at least, and it was part of the ancient, long-gone journal system iirc? I don't think we can even edit these any more. Axe it, please. More user profile presets - not all folks are CSS-savvy, having a few more preset profiles themed after pet colours would be neat. As well as updating the current ones in terms of colours, some are a bit... janky and hard on the eyes. Have the ones based after special-posed pet colours fancier with some very, very light graphics or something? Categorizing pets - not sure how viable, would like to be able to group pets. Finished/unfinished, characters that are in the same universe, so many possibilities. And to go with it: let us use avatar borders on pet headshots, for pets shown on our user profiles (and also leashed pets but that's not what this topic I'm posting on is about).

Lots of good suggestions. Being able to more easily customize a profile without learning complex CSS would be huge. Even better if it were extended into the pet's profile options as well.

Premade themed options would be fun, but also giving us the option to tweak them maybe with hex codes like the hair salon?

The send mail and add friend buttons are cute but I honestly preferred how it looked when it was just a button without the character art. The art is great, it just doesn't exactly fit my theme.

The ability to actually resize a media section. It used to work? But now the resizing is a pain and I just deleted the section to avoid having the size ratio off. Maybe it is because of my own wonk code knowledge IDK.

What user profile presets are you talking about? The only customization I know of like that are the site themes, which do not affect profiles.

Bookmarks. From what I understand we won't have bookmarks anymore, so I'd really like that to be replaced by something in the profile. Maybe a pre-made list that would include basics like Dailies, News, Wardrobe, Forums and the ability to add as we see fit.

I would like the options to be more visible, or written out somewhere - something that showcases what we can change. Right now, all the customization options are hidden within individual sections that many people don't even know exist.

Stuff like: Showing clothing on your avatar Color themes Pets per row How many comments to display

and so forth. Unless someone adds in every single section, then reviews them one by one there's really no way to figure out we can even customize anything at all.

Maybe it's because I remember what profiles looked like before the current iteration, but I can't think of many improvements. I do like the suggestion someone else mentioned of having some kind of Spotify widget since not many people use last.fm anymore. Also this might be personal opinion but I find some profiles just look unbalanced when the user has a large amount of pets, even if the Pets box is the only one in its column. I don't know what a solution for this might be, tho.

If you go to your user profile and edit the Profile category (x__x hot mess to explain, I know, but that's what Subeta calls it), there should be a dropdown with various colour scheme presets.

Wow. I'd seen that before but completely ignored it because I usually have my own scheme (and also usually edit profile coding from the profile page).

At the bare minimum of implementing stuff for non-CSS users that should be updated. I like your idea of schemes based on specialty pet colors, and the basic profile colors should be adjusted to look a little less early-2000s.
