i've tried doing my pet block with scode repeatedly, and my issues have always been the same --

1. it almost always looks ugly (TO ME) if you have a pet name that's longer than its' icon ex:
   SPOILER (click to toggle)

   there are probably ways around this using more involved code, but!
2. i don't want to have to have to remember to maintain the section / add new pets. i won't lie, i'm lazy. at one point i took the pet block's code, put it on a custom block, and then shuffled the table code around + added new pets in manually. and i hated that!

we can already save a custom pet order so at this point i'd settle for just being able to "lock" the pet block to a custom order ;A;

I like 's idea "i'd also love the (show wearables) on your HA section to be spoiler-like, so it takes up less room unless you click on it."

Several have also said the ability to enable themes for those who aren't CSS friendly (like me). I update my profile so infrequently that I don't remember how I did it, then I struggle and decide it's not worth the time I'd need to figure it out and it stays the same.

I'd also like to see a section added where you can make like a goals or current to do list to it that allows you to link to things. For example not just linking to the generic achievements page but say "I'm currently working on completing the Drink Up Me Hearties, Book Worm & Eddie Bell LoliPOP Collector achievements" and have them link to the specific achievement. Also the ability to do move some of these other displayed items to the goals/to do section, for example if I'm working on my plushies then having the ability to show that I'm working on that instead of listing the individual achievements for it.

I'd love to see a pet spotlight section where I can choose the pet to display and some of their pet specific achievements like food, books, battle, their job, etc. without having to do CSS to do it.

Maybe even have something for birthdays (pet or us) where it gives us a temporary HA border or theme (expanding this to the forums would be cool too - temp title or border) like a feature we can pay X sP or CSC to turn it on for the day to hand out exclusive birthday items that you can only access once by clicking on something on our profile (kinda like the ToT, egg or TP buttons that come up on your profiles).

I'd like the ability to hide galleries in the Shops section. Maybe also have the ability to "spotlight" some of the items from the shops or galleries. For example I have a Mask gallery, I'd love to be able to pick a couple of my favorite masks and display them under the gallery. Same with shops where I can pick a couple items that maybe I think are in demand or aren't being see enough and I can kind of like place an add on my profile to them.

[edit] The things I mentioned for the shops/galleries, I'd love to see available for the WLs too.

i know that most (maybe all?) of this stuff can be implemented with manual coding, but some people don't know how/like to do that. or prefer an "official" way to do it. but these are things i agree with and things i would like to see:

• make the wearables on your avatar under a spoiler
• ability to show select past/saved outfits (and it would be really awesome if there were an official avatar gallery for everyone that people could view and give likes to... but that's a whole other thing)
• choose which pets to display
• choose which shops/galleries to display, and allow choosing an item image to represent them
• include cw shops in the shops/galleries section?
• add more to the "options" section, for example: give gift can be moved here, gift buddy GA (or does this already exist? i thought it did but i'm not sure), and an avatar like option
• i actually really like the new icon art for the options section and would love to see everything in this section with matching themed icons, but i understand some people don't like them, so perhaps an option to display the new icons or simple buttons/text instead?
• userinfo and extra userinfo combined into one, with options on what info to display
• custom pronouns instead of gender
• choose which items to show on your wishlist, and/or display categories? mostly i'm sick of it just showing the first items you added. be nice if it at least showed random ones each time like it used to
• disagree with removing the medals section! i like seeing the ones i have (and wish there were more, tied to achievements i guess) i say this because they feel like something you can actually show off, whereas achievements are just lines of text and not very interesting

also i guess i'm in the minority but i really like the 3 column layout. i don't like ones that just have 1 column in the middle or whatever. again, i know i could keep this with manual coding but i get annoyed fiddling with code. :/

When I first found this thread I couldn't think of anything I would change other than the editor working better. But I have read many suggestions I really liked and only a few I didn't. Here are some of the ones I really want.

-A way to spotlight one of my pets and show a little more information. It would depend on the pet but battle stats, a random display of its reading list, a display of its food to show what a connoisseur they are, and a display of their employment would be nice. Please don't make it the leashed pet I don't want to leash any of my pets.

-The items I'm wearing as a spoiler.

-Show CW shops. Some have requested they just be added to the existing shop/gallery box but I would love if they had their own box. It would highlight it so it is easier for me to find and it would allow the user with CW shops the ability to remove just their CW shop if they wanted to or move it where ever they want it in their profile.

-Make ALL user info optional. And if you smash it all together it would be nice if I could create two boxes and put whichever info I wanted into each one.

There are a few things I like the way they are, like the columns. Some have asked for single columns but I hate scrolling continuously please leave us the option for how many columns we want the way it is now. If the columns could be wider I might consider fewer but even then options, options, options seems to be everyone's request. Some one mentioned coding so the profile adapts to the viewers screen or at least I think that is what they meant. If that is possible could the columns resize to fit the space based on the number of columns you choose and stack for people viewing on a narrower screen?

i might be late and others have probably already said this but:

i want complete modularity

i want to be able to choose what appears on my profile, what doesn't appear, and in what order those things do appear. and i don't want any limits imposed on this.

i want to be able to remove anything except my actual username, removing that would be pointless wait am i missing something? do usernames not show on profiles? (and the site navbar at the top, removing that would be mean)

i also think profiles should contain more links to things.

i find subeta really hard to navigate and part of that is user profiles. there's no link to pet collections, just a few actual pets. (actually...how do i view someone's entire pet collection? i don't think i've ever been able to find that consistently.)

some sections seem broken or incomplete. i have an "achievements" section in my profile (below the wishlist). it's empty.

i had hoped/assumed it would just show all my achievements, but that doesn't seem to be the case. i thought editing it would allow me to choose specific achievements to show, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. i can just set a number - maximum 15 - and beyond that i have no control.

is it by most recently achieved? most recently added to the site? worth the most points?

i don't know, because it doesn't work. i type "15", click "update achievements", and...nothing.

the info below my avatar says i have 116 achievements. there's a link to my achievements page. the achievements section doesn't show this link or number. why not?

i'm not upset about this not functioning, it's just an example of how a lot of stuff on the profile doesn't behave as expected, and, even if it worked the way it should, isn't as customisable as i'd like.

An option to hide all sections to viewers EXCEPT in edit profile, a toggle visibility, if you will.

Ditch the three column standard user profile look. It's dated, it's clunky, it's ridiculous. Much like having the forum images be within that of, I think, 1024x768 res. Which. Who has that as a monitor now? All jesting and potential stepping on toes aside. The resolutions are old and outdated.

Alt text?? Who dat??? With so many images on this site, there's so little alt text and while it might be a massive task for a now limited userbase to add alt text to everything on site, something needs done. Profiles are no exception.

i second the ideas for CW shops + toggling visible shops but honestly i just want the achievement block to work D:

i have a few ideas so im just gonna rattle them off, i have no idea how easy or difficult any of these would be to implement im just dumping ideas.

a way to pick what segments of the extra userinfo are displayed(for example i have many collections with nothing or very little in them, id love to delete them from my list so they arent being a clutter), ability to choose which pets are displayed, ability to feature a specific wishlist category instead of how jumbled it looks now, pronoun section, a way to display certain achievements.

also i know most of the ones i said have been said before but one i didnt think of until i saw it here is a spotify widget, that is a wonderful idea.

bring back interests. we can have them on our profiles but cant edit them and i thought it was a cute feature for making friends back in the day or whatever

Oh, yeah I agree! I added that to my profile because I thought it'd be neat to have but then couldn't do anything with it.

this. it was such a helpful feature and made profiles feel like our own, while gaining interest from potential friends! it's sad to see the feature there but unusable :c

also not completely sure, but if the last post was 7ish months ago i don't think its necroposting. imo better to use an already made thread than clutter the forums with another of the same topic
