The last 2 times I did Quentin's quests, I got 5 each of the mage amulets. Damn mage only gave me ONE tome, tho.

When you are logging on to new subeta is it bringing up the shoutbox for you? I never used that thing and having it show up there is annoying. People put the weirdest things in there. It used to show up a welcome page or my wardrobe until this past week.

Working on psych...found out I have to do a discussion thread this week and respond to others posts....did my starting post but no one else has posted yet....it's due the 17th. Hope they post soon so I have time to finish mine.

I just sell the amulets. I probably will eventually turn them in to get the tomes...maybe lol

Yesterday at school was so nice. Two little handfuls were absent and another two went home by 11am. The day was so peaceful compared to our normal days!!

I've got the sniffles.. which is annoying af.

And we made it to playoffs for football, then we won the first game.. AND the second! So that was two more Fridays busy. Today was marching band state championships down in Hershey, we did better than we have the last few, so I'm pretty proud of them!

Lily had her concert band concert on Thursday, did super well, and her jazz band audition went well too.. she showed up and the director goes "Oh, did I tell you you have to audition? You're in" LOL.

So.. IDK. That;'s what's going on in my life. Just LIly stuff :P

Hahaha . Lily is a busy girl. Finally one other person posted on the discussion board. Gonna wait for one more before I finish up. Hopefully tomorrow. To me, this person didn't do the assignment correct, tho she did do what I'd contemplated before interpreting and deciding to do 3 separate posts for the 3 paragraphs. (State that no one else had posted so I couldn't complete it right.....) This person also used the fact that we were online and not able to face to face see and respond to peers 😒 you can still respond to what they type....which is what I've been waiting for.

Ohh excitement....the school board decided we can go back to optional masks Monday. Guess who won't be wearing one! 🤣😝

OH OH I FORGOT TO TELL YOU THE FEELGOOD STORY OF THE DAY.

OK well we have 12 people total. 10 band and 2 color guard. And we have 2 seniors. Well, one of them broke his elbow last week. It was awful, he was devastated, etc. He watched everyone else play at the game Friday and was like, heartbroken, you could see it in his eyes.

WELL, he walked out on the field tonight in his uniform and we were all cheering. Then he took his sling off and handed it to the band director, the whole group of us were yelling our heads off and shouting his name, and we were so excited the people next to us were like 'what the heck is going on?' so we told them and they ended up yelling and cheering for him too.. eventually the entire section was yelling his name haha. his mom didn't even know he was going to do it and she was sobbing.

He couldn't slide his trombone obviously, but he marched with everyone, and did whatever he could from first position.

IDK man we were all just SO proud of him. All of them, really, It was so sweet. AND they finally got out of their second to last streak. :/ It sucks to be the smallest band. :(

Aww that is so awesome!! And sweet!! It's great he was able to go out and at least march with them. Trombone is very hard to play with injury!! My brother was a trombone player. I did flute. I tried marching band one year....could not manage to march and play at the same time 😂 Small bands have it hard!! Our school has a small marching band too, for all we are a fairly large system! Bigger than yours tho.

Thank you both for the warm welcome!! I am jumping back into Subeta after a rough breakup in September. It is nice to be back and not completely cutting myself off from friends. Lol. I have been getting into new hobbies such as knitting again, crocheting, and painting kindness rocks so it has been really good for me.

As you probably guessed from my bit about discussion boards and assignments, I am currently enrolled in college. I am trying to get a general education degree to start and then hope to go on for a birth-5 teaching degree. It'll take me forever as I'm doing it part time as I work full time as a preK parapro (assistant teacher).

Day 40 on bathhouse. I got to keep it up!!

No water this morning!! We paid the bill, there seems to be no leaks on our side nor on the road nearby....what the heck. Ugh. And I needed a shower this morning. Glad I'm not stinky. Hubby will call later this morning to figure it out. So I am making tea with bottled water this morning!!! Wonder how many bottles it takes to make half a gallon of tea? I used one to boil the water and am steeping the tea bags....

Very true. I am very happy now and I honestly was miserable in my relationship and that is no way to life.

That's still so awesome even if it will take a while. Never give up on your dreams! That is a very important job and we need great people like you to do it!

4 bottles, was a little too much water haha. My math skills are crap this morning. I'm still half asleep.

I wanted to be a teacher 25yrs ago but I didn't like retaking my classes from high-school. Kids now can get credit for both! (My daughter did 4 basic classes dual-enrollment, lucky duck). So now, I'm retaking classes lol! But eh at least now I need the refresher. A plus is I've been told my classroom experience may help me exempt from taking some classes and my job will count as my "work practice" or whatever they call it. So yay, bonus for adulting.

I need to start getting ready for work. Haha. I did some morning yoga today to help wake me up and make me feel prepared for the day! I love it!
