Maybe I will start on the earwarmer my mum asked me to make for her instead since that shouldn't take too long or be too difficult to get right. ;)

I reckon starting the earwarmer is a good idea - it's a lot smaller than the sweater, and should give you a really good sense of satisfaction when you've finished it :d

once the joggers fabric arrives, that has an 8 week deadline, but that shouldn't be too challenging (I hope!) to get it finished in 2 months ;) The next deadline after that is my Dad's birthday - in December laughs

That's very true! I've got a couple of pairs of jeans that are high-waisted but they ride up too high when I sit down, so they were only able to be worn as walking jeans ;)

that's true - if these didn't ride up so the waistband was digging into my ribs, they would've been perfectly fine to sit down in! I've redone the pattern several times, and have one pair that will fit once I 'tone up' a bit (I've put weight on in the last year) and one pair that is almost finished (I've just got the waistband to go, so hopefully I can make the waistband a little longer!) ;)

ROFLMAO there's nothing I can say to that! I think it's the way they've drawn the fabric draping down from the bust that kind of emphasises things ;)
