oh snuggly warm dryer clothes in the winter I love it! But certain items I like to hang dry, because of the smell of the soap. Oh here is one for you! My grandma lived on a farm, she hung her clothes out in the Montana winters in below freezing weather. I swear no lie, grandma would trot out in the snow and grab her laundry bare foot. Now as a 6 year old I knew my mother would whip my Fanny if I did that. So the memory has stayed with me. Any way clothes would be frozen stiff like a board, rule number 1 DO NOT bend those clothes they would break in half. She took them in and stood them up on her tile floor. Anyway when they were done drying OMG they smelled wonderful I have never forgotten that smell.
WOW!!!!! To be perfectly honest with you, if I had the opportunity, I might buy a really cheap shirt or something just to try and "break" it after freezing. But you know, people (and us too), before technology took over everyone's lives, were a lot tougher. As a kid, I stayed bare footed. Even now, sometimes, in the winter, I still wear flipflops. Unless its wet outside. I don't like the feeling of wetness on my feet with shoes or socks on. It grosses me out. But I used to be able to RUN bare foot across gravel and through the yard (with stickers) and it not bother me. Not anymore. I am sad to say, I have gone soft :( LOL. But I long to get back into the country and enjoy the peace and nature. One of these days it will happen. I was rather enjoying the warmer air we had the past few days. Then last night, a cold front came through. The wind knocked out the power right before sunset, but it was only off for about an hour. Now its cold and wet again. I don't wish for the extreme heat of the summer, but I just want the comfortable 60s and 70s to stick around for a while. Jeans and t-shirt weather is what I love.

I was a barefoot kid that kicked up gravel all the time and outdoors as much as possible, too. I am jeans and t-shirt, too. My hubby likes me to dress up fancy, and I am not a fan. Fancy as I get is a nice blouse with my jeans, I want a comfortable t-shirt and call it a day. My fancy outfit was at my 2 of my sons weddings, I felt uncomfortable and restricted. Tennis shoes (snickers), crocs and rotate thats is me. I hear you on the weather, just warm enough not to be burdened with a coat.
LOL.... You sound so much like me. Now that its cooler, I like sweat shirts and hoodies. But my boyfriend wants me to get up and get dressed, so my hair and makeup every day, even though all I do is stay home. I used to do my hair and makeup EVERYDAY for work, and dress in office appropriate clothes, but when I have nowhere to go I like to lounge around in my sweat pants or tights, with a sweatshirt or t-shirt. I know that he is only looking out for my mental health (LOL - mind over matter), so he thinks me getting dressed and spruced will make me feel better. And it does sometimes. But sometimes I just want to through my hair in a ponytail and be comfortable. Why do men want us to ALWAYS be glammed up and all they do is throw on a polo and a ball cap and that's a wrap?!!! I called bulls**t!!!

I got something from the first round earlier. I have to wait until 2am to get something else. That 12 hour wait stinks.

I know I have a 6 hour wait, but I set a timer so I dont forget.
I will try to remember as well. If I am even awake then.
EDIT: OMG.... I am so excited for YOU!!!!! Texas is removing ALL restrictions, I think Monday.... I think that is a great thing. People need to back to some kind of normalcy. Its not healthy the way they are oppressing everyone and have people living in fear. I am all for taking precautions, but people get sick. In the big picture, covid really is not much worse than the flu, and if you look at the statistics, the flu affects MORE people and KILLS more people every year. But anyway, yay for TX!!! FYI.... its just talk right now, but a TX address might be in my future!!!!!!
