LOL.... I have SOOO much laundry to catch up on. But lucky at the time I had not yet changed for bed. LMAO!!!! Hehehe... Violet is priceless!!! She is such a light for me. She lights up all my dark days and makes the bright days even brighter.
Is it just me, or does anyone else not find the March collection very appealing? I guess there are some people who will like it. I guess it just doesn't go with many of our "pretty & sassy" style.

I bet Chinese would be rather hard to learn -- especially to read. But it definitely be interesting to try to learn! 😀
And honestly, I have so many favorites that it's hard to choose just one. And people are often in disbelief that I CAN'T just choose just one. I have the same problem with movies, TV shows and music. :stick_out_tongue:

I am taking good care of myself. Trying to take good care of everyone else around me too, but sometimes it proves to be difficult because they're stubborn and hard headed (as am I LOL). Take good care of yourself and your friends and family as well 💖 You, and all your family and friends, are in my prayers 🙏 And I agree, listening to our guts is more protection to us than anything.

I've not had any Cajun food before, but I have head nothing but positive things, and hope to try it one day ❤️ Oo, I agree, learning from someone vs. a cookbook is a must! Cookbooks are all well and good, but the hands on learning and learning from someone else, and the experience of it all, you just can't I am curious about Cajun cuisine and the language, I think because its not a language many think of to learn and I feel its reach in history. Plus the cuisine is not something many around the world know about, I want to learn from someone who cooks from scratch instead of a cookbook.

How was everyone's weekend? I had a wonderful with my fiance this weekend! Did some adulting errands and then we did a date night on Saturday, as well as spent time together yesterday walking around the park, spending quality time together while getting some PokemonGo in LOL. about the Chinese yes it is hard, speaking, reading and writing. In writing, there are many strokes in a typical word it’s hard to remember and easy to forget (I’ve forgotten most of the words learnt), for speaking, it’s way harder than English because in English, when you look at a word, you can make out the word by looking at the letters. However in Chinese, it’s all strokes ya know xD same in reading.
Cute story!! i love reading your stories and adventures. Nice catch in subeatique! Oh cool is that we have been to the same place, I went in June and already the heat was miserable. I will go in the winter months next time. I love when the clothes come out of the dryer all warm and smelling good. I do some cooking from cookbook, but when it comes to food from another culture there isnt a way to translate the feeling for the spices, and how some of the food is cooked. I am a visual learner. Plus I can write recipe down, as I watch and guess on measurements.

Well, if you want to know more about Cajun culture, feel free to ask. I live in Louisiana, born and raised. and I discuss this kind of stuff all the time. If yall would like some recipes, I could share a few if you let me know what you want to try. But Cajuns and recipes don't quite go together. We don't do "measurements". Its more like "eyeballing" seasonings and other ingredients and a little of this and a little of that. LOL. But nothing beats the food from Louisiana. I have traveled a little and I have never tasted food anywhere else as good as here. If you ever do visit, be careful of restaurants you go to. Big name restaurants that advertise "cajun" cuisine usually are not authentic or very good. You need to find the little "hole in the wall", "mom and pop" restaurants. And FYI..... the food in New Orleans is more creole than cajun, and I personally don't really like most of the restaurants out there.
Nothing beats clothes right out the dryer, when it first stops tumbling. Especially when its cold outside. Personally, I REALLY love clothes hung dried. They just have a fresh and light smell about them. But I love the smell of dryer sheets and fabric softener too. LOL.....
I might need to go catch up on my laundry quick, in case has anymore clever comebacks. HEHEHEHEHE
