Hubby has an accent his from Egypt, honestly to me he barely has an accent. But to others he has an heavy accent. Plus when he worked, he was working with people from all over the world. So I got used to different accents. For others your "accent" is unique, and they dont get a chance to hear it. Wait until your super annoyed, and come off sounding funny and people laugh. Which steams my beans, to no end. I get that all the time, because I also learned to talk in a way that gives visual pictures to listener. Like I told hubby one time, who roughed your butt up and poured alcohol on the wound. He bust out laughing at me, and I was red hot pissed.

I am trying really hard not to be bitter about the whole situation and the only thing keeping here are my friends.

I don't want to leave, however, I am really upset about them not caring about the issues I have with my wardrobe when it was their fault that I am missing so many items in the first place. Years of time and money invested, and to have over 3,000 items missing (MANY cash shop and SBQ items, some CWs, and lots more) is inexcusable. I have taken so many avenues to try to get it fixed and nobody on staff seems to care. Why should they? Its not their wardrobe and money that was lost, and what used to be my place to come and get away from the stresses of life is now becoming just another thing that adds to it all.

I have jumped through hoops trying to get help, to no avail. I filled out the "missing wardrobe items" form with a little over 100 items to start with, because to figure out everything that is missing is a HUGE project. But good thing I have kept track on Subetalodge. I have filed multiple tickets, with the response being that staff will get to my form when they have time.

It took over a month, and when they finally looked at my form, 37 items (mainly the cheapest items) were returned, one cash shop item, and a couple SBQ items. But my form was CLOSED, with the majority of my reported items not being returned. So I figured reporting the other missing items through that form was a waste of time. So after all that, I messaged Keith and Bug (I have been going through this since December), and neither one of them have returned my messages. I don't know what else to do. I have PROOF of the items I am missing, at least the majority of them. I am not trying to just get a bunch of wardrobe items I never had. And I am disgusted and fed up with the lack of support this site gives their members. They like to appease everyone with fake apologies and nice words, but NOTHING EVER REALLY GETS FIXED! I can't even find the right words to describe how I feel and as much as I love all the friends I have made here, I can't have fun knowing the lack of support that the staff is showing. And I have spoken to other people who have many things missing, so I am not holding my breath.

I wish I was on more...seems I'm always distracted or tired. Please stay dear one...you yourself matter to the folks here...if I knew what you were missing I'd find a way to get some of those things...but that doesn't solve the disappointment in how it was all handled.

Well I'm turning into some kind of zombie...glad the new strains progress faster this year.

I can replace most of the things overtime, but it doesn't make up for the time that I put into building my wardrobe, and then having to spend the extra sP to replace so many items that are gone through no fault of my own. I should not have to eat the cost of such a huge mistake.

I don't understand either. But it makes me feel like they are just greedy. They don't mind taking our money, but don't give a s**t when there are issues. And really, there will never be enough people that stop pouring money into this site to make a difference in their attitudes. I feel defeated and as much as there are so many things that I still want to collect, it will very hard for me not to put more money into this site.

Interesting, but can be frustrating. Because values and understanding of things are different. I have been to Egypt many times over the years, suppose to go in August. I have had to cancel many tickets since COVID started, so not getting hopes up about August. I could be a tour guide just about, when I go. I live as an Egyptian citizen would, so I get the true experience of being in Egypt. 1. get tickets 2-3 months in advance cheaper 2. only drink bottled water or juices, hot tea or coffee 3. bring your own medicines and hygiene items 4. eat in restaurants you recognize like pizza hut, McDonalds and others (prevents traveler tummy like diarrhea just case bring meds for it)

Dont go for a week waste of an airline ticket, to much to see. Sites like the pyramids, and temples go at night show and then go again during the day. Camels at the Great pyramids are dressed/decorated better in the summer, and camel will be cleaner. Because the camel drivers fear cleaning them in the winter will make them sick. Buying papyrus paper or brass plates with Egyptian hieroglyphics BEWARE, they sell poorly made junk to tourists, look for quality craftsmanship. If they look poorly done, they are junk. Absolute must the Egyptian museum in Cairo, but have at least 5-6 just for that a lot to see. Also know that in the museums and tombs they do not permit cameras, but CDs can be bought. WHY? Because the cameras flash can have an affect on all artifacts. Also, some tombs they quit letting the public in to see them, because the affect of a person's breathing and body temperature can have on the tombs on the interior. Absolute musts are Cairo's Khan el-Khalili ( you must haggle or make bargains they like it, and the go high to get more money off tourists and to leave room to bargain, always bargain) souk/market and St Catherine monastery on the Sinai Peninsula located of the Burning bush, Golden calf on the mountain and more. Best time to go between October and February not to hot and not to cold to visit Egypt. Bring jackets and swimsuit, desert cools down at night, but can swim during the day in certain parts of Egypt.

To be honest, the Lair is the only thing that has kept me on Subeta for so long. I adore my friends (family, as I see them), and you and many others have been very supportive and gotten me through a lot more than you all will ever know.

If you go to the Survival Forums, there is a "biting" thread for anyone wanting to be infected. You can let them know which infection you want and someone will "bite" (infect) you. I did this yesterday and was infected in less than an hour. So, I definitely recommend doing this.
