Hello all my Lair Bear family!!! I hope that you all have had a wonderful day.

If you would all excuse me, I am going to rant for a minute. I would like to say that I am so thankful to have Subeta in my life. Not because of the games or dressing a HA, or trying to work on gaining achievements and collections. I love Subeta because of the PEOPLE that I have come to know over the last 12 years.

The community of Subeta is beautiful, filled with a diverse group of people from all over the entire world. However, nowhere on this entire site have I ever seen the disgusting acts of hate against people. I have never seen racism or any other kind of discrimination against each other. If it has happened on this site, I've never witnessed it. Everyone here is free to express themselves and everyone is respected as an individual. Even if opinions differ, there just seems to be an energy on Subeta where people can deal with frustrations and disagreements without getting completely belligerent or out of hand.

I say this because, no matter where you live in the world, you see or hear about nothing but people promoting hate. So, I didn't make this post to make a political statement. I am just sick of this world and how we, as people, have allowed our governments to bring us all down to a level that we allow this disgusting display to continue and gradually get worse.

So, I say again, I am so thankful for Subeta. I am thankful that I have this group, that in many ways is more than just friends, but a family. I am so thankful that we love and accept each other as people and can celebrate our differences and be joyous about sharing things from our cultures and that we all get to experience life outside of the small "boxes" we sometimes find ourselves in.

So thank you all. And I love you all. You are all precious and you all have a purpose in this world.

When I decided to do BHH achievement, I knew it would take awhile, which it sure did. Bravo so true! its amazing we can do it here, and most of us have never met in real life. Shows its possible, if we make an effort. Your forum signature is so pretty, thanks!

I love Subeta because of the people too...specifically the Lair...always a supportive and caring bunch. It is what keeps me here. So happy you are here too ❤

You guys are some of the best friends that I have made here in the Lair. There are many more, but I think you are the ones that I have spoken to and shared with most. We have all been here for so long and with all the craziness of life, I don't know what I would have done had I not had you guys and the Lair to reach out. So, thank you all for being awesome!

On another note, I saw a post a couple days ago about a few people that couldn't participate much and I have LOADS of trinkets and bags. I have not bought everything that I want, but I will have extra trinkets. I have loads in my currency and have not been cashing in my trinket bags. So, maybe at the end of the event, we can work together on making a list of everyone that needs trinkets and I can help get trinkets to those people.

Since it's a Masquerade, and we are encouraged to come to the Ballroom in costume, I'm wearing my favorite Pirate Captain outfit. No worries, the sword is a Hollywood hero prop, it clangs like a real sword, but it is quite dull. Just don't expect me to speak 'Pirateese' as I'm horrible with accents and jargon. As a child in apprentice school, during Drama I Class, I tried to perform a Cockney accent and it sounded like a Scottish person attempting to affect an American Deep-South drawl by a person from Australia. My drama teacher laughed so hard that he farted in class and several of the boys had to hold their things to keep from wetting their school pants. I got an "A" for best comedy performance, but I didn't take Drama II next semester.

- I know what you mean...when I first started with Subeta my job took me too far from home and I was lonely...and found friends here, so nice. I wondered if I would keep up after going back and when I did get home I could not imagine leaving Subeta...so ya'll are stuck with me now :P haha once I ventured into another forum group...and folks not as friendly like here...I do not venture off anymore!
