About my nuts.com order, umm, here's the thing none of the 5 items I'm getting are nuts. Mint Lentils, Mini Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cups, Blackberry Brandy Cordials, (1 pound each, THEN - Old Fashioned Chocolate Fudge 12 ounces, and last but surely my favorite Truffles. Did my best to give myself something to feel guilty about. Oh and I do love almonds and cashews but tis the season!

Mmmmm all sounds so good!

And I just got an email from nuts.com and my order should be here today instead of tomorrow - life does get better. And I am waiting on delivery of the crock pot/pressure cooker I ordered to come, the 2 cook books already did and the recipes are mouth watering.

It's been a hectic week or two.

I had another endoscopy and Brian is going in for a colonscopy next week.

I watched all of The Haunting of Bly Manor and all of the Welcome to the Blumhouse movies on Amazon. The only one I didn't like was Nocturne. Good premise but the message got all jumbled.

Though it has one of my favorite lines: Just tampon and go.

Did you see last years Blumhouse monthly movies? Some were quite good. Have also been watching Bly Manor and Ratched.

Blumhouse did the same thing last year? If so, no.

As a horror fan I have seen a bunch of their films over the years :)

My least favorite is Fantasy Island. Loved it up until the end where the twists just became too nonsensical :)

I use that movie to judge if a Blumhouse movie is really all that bad :)

I haven't watched Ratched yet.

Power went out about 6am ish. Not sure what happened but thinking an accident since we heard sirens. Came back and went out a couple times. It's been back steady since 9am. On the plus side I found out how to make the cell phone a flashlight. :) (yeah, still don't know how to use the cell phone completely).

Meant to say that I hope you and Brian are doing better but for some reason I freeze up when it comes to endoscopy (big fear) and a colonoscopy one test I will never have. Apologies. Good to see you here as it says you are feeling a bit better I hope. Did you have the procedure done to block pain in your back? Congrats on the food achievements! Isn't the flashlight on smartphones wonderful? Learned about it from my plumber when I was watching him a year or two ago. Just learned how to separate google from my phone after losing phone numbers, and it was great to get email off the phone as well.

Maybe if we all close our eyes and wish really really hard morostide will start?

I am not sure anyone can use their cell phone fully. Power outages during the dark are no fun after the age of 25. We have been having them during daylight occasionally this year. They are updating the underground cables.

your not alone with the cell phone issue. I'm still trying to figure out mine lol

Hope the treatments themselves are not uncomfortable and that they are giving you some relief.

actually when I got home after the first one, I felt like someone put a hot poker on my spine. I called and called until they finally said I could take something for pain. I thought this was really weird. I won't ask this time I'll just do it

When you go back be sure to tell them about your experience and what they would recommend for pain. Sometimes there is more to know than they remember to tell.

And I am loving the Happy Death Day movies. They don't take themselves seriously at all. Wouldn't mind a third one XD

Ah, last year was either neflix or hulu - been watching prime too, added AMC+ and it has Shudder and Mad Men.

The Gallows Act was so extra -- (in a good way, I love all Blumhouse films, even the cheesy ones). It's been awhile since I've seen it but I remember it being kind of over the top and random, but easy enough to follow if you're paying attention.
