Hey guys! Wanted to share with you all that my surgery has been approved and is scheduled for October 27th! I am ridiculously excited. I have a covid test the 21st so as long as it's negative there will be nothing else to stop it! I hope everyone is ready for morostide!! I know I am. Although I definitely need to start getting more wigs in my wardrobe... I'm not feeling like I have any that would be good for more spooky HA's.
What are your guys go to wigs around morostide?

I think I will just mask up and turn the lights on this Halloween. We don't have many come by and we just have them pull out their own candy from a bowl, anyway.
I have been sick. Headaches, not Covid or flu. Going to be giving convalescent plasma again next week to the red cross. It was supposed to be today, but their machine broke.
I'm sorry you've been sick. Hope it goes away soon or at least gets better. But donating plasma while you are sick, is that ok? They wouldn't let me do that years ago when I gave blood or plasma. Now they won't let me donate at all and haven't since 2000 when I started having TIA's and stuff.

Yet I've always wanted to dress up in a costume....
I don't have a favorite wig, but I like to wear the CS fiend clothes during morostide......

TIA
TIA is a Transient Ischemic Attack (Mini-Stroke): A neurological event with the signs and symptoms of a stroke, but which go away within a short period of time. Also called a mini-stroke, a TIA is due to a temporary lack of adequate blood and oxygen (ischemia) to the brain. This is often caused by the narrowing (or, less often, ulceration) of the carotid arteries (the major arteries in the neck that supply blood to the brain).
TIAs typically last 2 to 30 minutes and can produce problems with vision, dizziness, weakness or trouble speaking.
My TIA’s began in 2000; migraines since early 80’s. Always had frequent headaches, but now they are nearly constant. My doctor said I have complicated migraines with TIA’s. Something happened in my 20's, but I didn't see a doctor, so not sure what it was. I think I had a stroke, possibly two. The episodes used to happen a lot and were mostly brought on by stress. Not every episode was a TIA, but we didn't find that out until later.
Things that happen to me during an episode, are these: (Not necessarily all of them at the same time.) Disconnected, slow moving and slow thinking. Often I can’t remember things and get lost and confused, and can’t concentrate. Panic, lost in my mind, terrified I won’t come out of it, stressed & crying, don’t know where I am, can’t remember words, numbers mean nothing, can’t add. Don’t know names of people, except for Rox and my mother. Frustrated & sometimes angry, feel stupid, can be very stubborn. Serious confusion, get drowsy, Have had permanent memory loss, esp short term; more words and ability were gone after every bad one I had. Have gotten lost in my own home. Have fallen on several occasions, lose coordination and equilibrium. Blurry eyesight, sometimes so bad nearly blind, facial paralysis, numbness, usually left side, but there were a few times it was on the right, and once both sides. Sometimes my hands shake, and I have had whole body tremors. I was really scared those were seizures, but after a lot of testing they said no. Anyway, not fun.
lol tbh..I haven't watched the last 5 seasons! I actually just started rewatching from S1. :D I just started S4 today. It helps me pass the nights..that's for sure. haha
it's so weird how places are handling halloween so differently...It's thanksgiving here this weekend..and we aren't allowed groups of more than 10 ppl..so..will be a super small dinner this yr..

Your description of TIA's was perfect and even a informative for me as my father suffered from them as part of his dementia before I had care of him and till he passed. Have had a couple of them myself.

Oh, that was in the years past. I don't know what they are doing this year. My kids are grown and haven't kept up on things. I hope there is some kind of plan for the kids to have fun and be safe. :)
Like my father I have cardiovascular health issues, both of my parents had strokes and I have had 2 or 3 cardiovascular events (their term for stroke) show on a scan. Can not stress enough to anyone that Oatmeal is a wonder food, will clean up blood work just give it time. All of a sudden one day you realize you feel just a bit better and it just increases from there. I still have it every morning for breakfast.

I thought 'Cerebrovascular' was the term for brain and bloodvessels and 'Cardiovascular' was for the heart and bloodvessels. Then add 'accident' or 'event' for stroke or heart attack. But I know they can be combined. And oatmeal is good for anyone. I should eat a lot more of it. :)

Sorry to have been MIA lately. Life is crazy but going well! I hope everyone is staying safe (and sane) right now!
I cleaned out our freezer yesterday. We keep a freezer out in the garage for extras (especially bogo meat sales that I vaccuum pack). It's old so it will build up ice after awhile. Not defrosted it in a couple years and the last week or so we had to chip ice off so we could close the door. So I guess it was about time. lol It was warm enough for the air to do a lot of the melting itself but I took a blowdrier to it for about an hour to get the largest chunk at the top to fall so I could get all the food back in it before dinnertime. My legs ache today from standing still on the concrete for more than an hour. Glad it's done. Looks so neat now.
My allergies have been really annoying lately.

- I am back after a long hiatus, I will try to be online daily like I used to! If I'm not online, I am always logged onto discord :) I work, so I usually will be online after 8 pm my time.

-Looking for some older buddies around my age to befriend! Preferably with similar interests (art, videogames, writing, subeta etc...)

- I'm female, 26 yrs old (my birthday is on Oct 20th!), I love video games and play them a ton~ I have a steam account, Nintendo switch, and 3ds as most current "consoles" I love anime and manga, and I am currently getting back into art and writing~ I really want to try role playing one day, but am a newbie to it :3 I'm very kind and caring, I have a discord if you ever wanted to msg me when I'm not online subeta :D

Hi Krystal. In our members we have college age to grandmas and most places inbetween. :) We have people who draw and write too, I believe. Not sure about gamers (I only play subeta and WoW but I watch others play other games on twitch quite a lot - Been watching people with BG3 early access and it's looking fun). Haven't played on a console in ages.
