ty for asking. they poked me all over which made me hurt more and then told me they would reccommend the steriod back shot but would be two to three weeks before I got a date for it.
I said I'd been going through this since July so push the button to make it go faster.

While I want nothing more than to see you out of pain it bothers me that they are not correcting the reason like a chiropractor does.

with my spine deteriorating I don't see what a chiropractor can do. besides, I don't think my insurance would pay for that.

Did not realize how severe your condition is till I read that. In that case, I do hope this shot will give you the relief you need. Fingers crossed that they see you sooner rather than later.

Hope it helps! I know others have benefited a great deal, but I just could not do the shot. It scared me because he wanted to thread through my broken tailbone! Nope nope nope. shudder. Have so much scaring and probs going on higher they really couldn't do it where the pain is and I just couldn't see much benefit to the risk anyway. But that's just me. Best wishes for you!

, - We found out she has diabetes. Definitely not the worst case by far but it's very costly in the beginning. It cost us $380 for a blood test and urine analysis. We ALMOST paid $140 for the insulin but after calling our vet back they were able to find us some for $25. After her being on the insulin (2 shots a day) for 7-14 days she has to go back for more blood work and to get a glucose monitor that will test her levels for 14 days so they know if they need to up her insulin dose.

Basically it's very overwhelming and we had to make some choices regarding pushing back bills BUT I am so thankful we don't have to say goodbye to her. I was an emotional wreck the whole week of just waiting for her appointment. It was such a relief to hear that although she does have something wrong it can be managed. Thank you both lots for the well wishes!

- I have been in a VERY similar place as you and I really hope you're able to get SOME relief with the shot! I much rather have labor pains then back pain. Hoping the weight loss surgery will help me get some of this excess weight off of it and maybe get off some of the medications I'm on for my back.

- Those are wonderful!! I WISH I had even a quarter of that talent but alas I'm stuck being artistically challenged lol

Good news, great that your wonderful baby will be able to stay with you with care. I wish you and your pet the very best, won't be easy maybe but will be one of the best hard times. Not easy.

Howdy folks.

Mom's birthday is today. Was going to cook dinner but since she wanted to go out with me today she decided she wanted McDs so I wouldn't have to cook after running all our errands. lol It was unhealthy and soooo yummy. Coconut Cake for dessert. I gave her a subscription to Britbox for her birthday so we have a lot of british tv to watch now. She was happy and spent all yesterday after I gave it to her watching it.

Sorry about your doggo but glad it's something that can be managed. Y'all will get it down to a routine in time. hugs
