I will honestly say it looks like a lot of thought went into this and at first glance it looks like a good bang for the buck regarding subscriptions. Kudos, I really hope this benefits the site!

Personally, since non-unique pet names were scrapped in favor of nicknames I can't forsee a future with my wallet involved, but I do genuinely hope this helps the site with more revenue and longevity!

There is a little bit about the existing subscriptions, you can cancel that subscription and join the new ones, but they are separate

The new subscription options/perks are amazing! I actually really appreciate that the money is taken out monthly vs. all at once. I also like how it clearly says on the subscription page which plan we are subscribed to and when it will renew. I'm all in for the goddess plan <3 Thank you so much for this change <3

I will miss the bonus cash shop weekend but this sounds like a fair replacement. I only wish there was a transform option or some other way to use the buddy gold medal for users who have social anxiety/don't know a lot of people on the site. Aside from this though I am really liking what is included in the plans.

I understand that, it's just I spent that money already, so to get the medal back is not really effective, I would have to spend more money anyway and it was already a big investment to buy the 12 months, would be nice to just exchange the GA to the subscription system for the remaining months to those who bought a long period GA, or the equivalent of the money? because I would really like to get the perks, especially when it's hinted about BC perks, for me it's the most important, but I don't want the GA to be stacked up + spend more money.

There is so much here it is hard to know where to start. First I have been on this site many years and I haven't really been much of a financial supporter, primarily for personal financial reasons, so I hope this works for you. The biggest time of year that I spent anything was during your Black Friday sale. The idea of other random sales throughout the year would actually be nice but up since they won't be what we are used to at least from what I read in your announcement they might do better if we have some kind of warning/ heads so we can work them into our budgets. Or at least for those who budget. :) (Oh how I wish I were one of them)

On another note it is good to hear more about the new site. When I first heard about it I was VERY leery. Overall I haven't liked the new look so it is nice to know that the visual components will get refined over and over and maybe a little more over. I like that your goal for the new site if it works as expected will hopefully make things work much better everywhere on the site. BUT I also hope that this move will be muuuuuch slower than the one to the new wardrobe. If moving to the new wardrobe has taught me nothing else I have learned that there are many features whether in the graphics or coding that I am very attached to and I am sure it is even more so for the other parts of the site. So I hope we all have an opportunity to listen to each other and create a new home together.

Back to the GA part of the announcement. You say the monthly bonus items from bonus weekends will be going away I assume the existing ones will still be available in the shops? And will the new monthly bonus items be in the same jewel theme or do you think you will the will be more random like the loyalty shop items? Oh knowing what the next months item will be might be an incentive to purchase the monthly GA. One last question is the monthly bonus item that you mentioned would go out each month the "special item" mentioned on the subscription page?

Any Australians purchasing this new deal... wonder what the cost will be?

I'm a little confused though, is the Stained Glass Lily of the Valley the special monthly item for July? Also, when is the monthly special item given out? Does it matter when you sign up, like can you still get the special item if you sign up at the end of the month? Or would you miss it because it was already distributed earlier?

Can we maybe have a summary of the news post in the CS news post area (click)? Might help users find it after the original news post gets covered by other news things.

I'm with , I don't have many friends on here to see benefit in the buddy GA accounts but I'll figure it out :) I definitely hope there will be some pet perks soon because I am very interested in renaming but not willing to pay that much for it.

oh, this seems pretty good to me... especially the Goddess tier. though i have to admit the extra buddy GAs aren't a draw for me, since i dont have any friends here. i will probably use a subscription after i see how it plays out a bit more. but very tempting as is!

i dont really understand why people are asking if they can still buy CSC? was it implied in the announcement somewhere that you cant? i dont see what benefit it would be to remove that option entirely? [edit] nvm saw keith's response!
