I would be very interested to learn more about Miranda, or any other 'main' character you may have on the back burner. I see a lot of people here are into the romantic plot stuff, but that is definitely not my genre of choice. A Moro theme though, I am ALL about that.
Plot relevant prizes are fun, but I agree that being able to slot on them would be even more incentive. This time around, because I hardly ever dress up with an actual dress wearin HA, the dress wasn't on my list of priorities and I just participated for fun. But if it had been like IDK an exclusive sword or set of wings or even halo I probs would have been bummed I couldn't get my hands on one.
Thanks again for hosting this and keeping subeta interesting! Looking forward to whatever you come up with.
Don't worry, we all appreciate your gifts (birthday release <3) and giveaways. You are incredibly generous.
And it does sound like time is also a factor. I am absolutely not being greedy here btw. You have spoiled the hell out of me in the last month. But I will admit to being anxious about winning at least one raffle in this event because I really wanted the dress, and I would have been totally happy to pay for it, especially since in my case you had already given me TWO gorgeous dresses.
I'm not suggesting you'll make a profit on a site event prize. You won't. But a lot of people join events specifically because they want to get the CW, so chances are, anyone who joins and doesn't win will buy the CW.
(Just don't do the thing one of my friends did where they locked the CW before all the raffles/giveaways were over, meaning that people who didn't win the free slot wouldn't be able to buy it.)
I've largely stopped doing the ones that require massive amounts of dances/flowers/ToTs because I like to dance with/flower/ToT my friends and the site always lags during events. I would've done this event as a writing challenge event regardless of prizes, but I really wanted the dress and so did a lot of other people.
I agree with that including the cutoff time in the prompt would be great as I wrote some of my posts in a hurry.
(I really didn't think that it would be the aunt. She struck me SO HARD as the sort of person who wouldn't want to get her hands dirty and I would really, really love to know what inspired her to do it herself someday.)
Also, clarifying that it is an individual RP challenge rather than a group RP from jump.
I wasn't trying to make anyone mad or hurt anyone's feelings when I said that this type of RP is not something I have ever encountered outside of Subeta. My RP experience online has been mostly group interactive RPs and private 1:1s...and Wayward Squirrel, which I find very frustrating sometimes. That's just the truth, not a judgement. I'm sorry that it did hurt feelings, but I'm not quite sure why.
But if I'd known from jump, I'd have written my character differently and she might have come across as more likeable (and I would've, too.) If I'd known that what I as the player was reading (observations of other players) was not the same as what Ari the character was observing it would have been very helpful.
I'm afraid some people think I look down on them (I don't) when the fact is I am kind of amazed at their ability to suss out what they were supposed to do, now that I know it was what they were supposed to do.
NGL, I do really love group interactive RP, but I run them so I know how hard it is. <3

oh, yeah, def would be something that already have a planned story amd can't change, so it might be better for you since you'll only have to answer/comment the prompts, and not rewrite the whole story as happened with murder and tea
And I see, I totally understand it and really, everything would be sort of writing-based. But maybe just one writing challenge wouldn't be that bad, then, like a poem to conquer the heart of the bachelor(ette) with a maximum of 8 or 12 lines so people who're really good in writing don't have that much of an advantage, plus an HA challenge for a date look, one for an HA without the human base (only with the place of the perfect date) could also be fun to explore HA-building skills in another manner, picking subeta official items for a perfect dinner etc...
If I do something like this again, what sort of genre would you be interested in seeing? Would you prefer a continuation of Miranda's story? Or something new? Something new. I like Miranda, and she shouldn't have more problems! lol
Also in regards to prizes, do you like something similar set up to this where there is an exclusive CW that can only be won in the event or would you prefer prizes that aren't exclusive? Would you prefer to see more prizes but of lesser value (as in no CWs but probably something like smaller denomination CSC gift cards or the like)? I am sad I didn't get the exclusive CW. So I'd like to have some cute themed boxes instead. :)
Hahaha, she was totally hiding from all the police! That's a great excuse for why she wasn't there. Thanks so much again for hosting this fun event. 💜
Thanks so much, birthday twin. 💜

My thoughts:
I liked this little event you put on. Murder Mystery is one of the best genres for something like this, IMHO.
Prizes are nice but not 100% needed. I agree with the 'basket' idea. A little set of items (can be inexpensive) that pertain to the them is a nice thing.
( ~ you didn't come off as unlikeable at all! Unrelated to the thread but I hope you don't feel like you did anything wrong <3)
Thanks !
