I don't really have any goals after having capped chums, and I haven't actively worked on most of my pets besides reading to them. Which is probably why I'm not sure what to do now. I did it just to do it, and there's nothing more to it other than stats look nice.

You're not wrong, though. Working on my T9s is not a bad idea, even for the dumb ones.

If you haven't already, you're at the point where it's a good idea to make a SubetaLodge account and make a book checklist to help you find books and sort by price so you buy them efficiently. Getting to 1600 is expensive.

Personally, I would focusing on things multiple pets can use so you get the most bang for your buck. Soma tablets, scrolls and scaling weapons should all be things most, if not all, of your pets can use. AP is pet based, but scrolls are not. Even if not every pet could use every scroll, they will get to a point where they eventually can use more scrolls. Are there any opponents you are struggling with in particular that are stopping you from doing the most battle quests every day or trying to win loot off of?

I have the most fun battling with Oranos and Pylot because their stats and AP allow them to take on much tougher opponents early on. If that sounds fun for you, experimenting with how far you can push your pet, I think you would be better off with your two little pets

Thanks for the advice! I already have a checklist over there, I seriously wouldn't know how else to keep track. That's why I did that shopping spree at the Zombie Den, apparently those are the next cheapest books and in user shops they are more pricy.

Focussing on stuff several pets can benefit of off is a good point! I think I'm really bad with setting priorities, especially considering how long it takes me to make SP. How quickly I went through over 10 Mill just for a couple of books to read to three pets was pretty disheartening. I think I'm doing okay with BQs, we always make it to around level 20 which should be alright based on

I think one big issue is the fact that I honestly don't know what I can expect from my pets at this point and how high I should aim when it comes to choosing which opponents to take on. Maybe it would be easier to figuere out what equipment to buy if I had set goals, but I kind of just look at an opponent's stats and my own pet's stats and only if my stats are similar or higher, I go for it.

Battling is an expensive hobby the more serious you get. Intel especially gets very expensive, that's why a lot of us like to use tomes. You get all stats, including intel, so you benefit a lot using tomes while your pet is still not at the stat cap. There are other booster that are A LOT cheaper than tomes so it all depends on how important intel really is to you.

Depending on your weapons and scrolls, that sounds about right for T8. I think your pet is T8? There are some extremely hard challengers T8 pets can beat. I have a couple of cheeky T7 pets that can beat some of the level 21-25 opponents

Don't expect to win every battle, no matter how high tier your pets become. Your first battle pet will always struggle the most. It will be easier for the next pet because by then you will have won better weapons with your first pet and/or saved up for better weapons. You also have that much more experience against opponents based on how your first pet struggled.

Yes, my pet is tier 8, only 44 points away from tier 9. It seems a little weird that BQ level 1-20 are quite easy and we barely take any damage, but the opponents starting at lvl 21 usually knock my pet out within the first few rounds. I guess that's just how BQs are designed, but it feels like there is a big gap in between opponents.

I have some boosters in my vault, but I was planning to save them for when stats are harder to come by. I guess I don't necessarily need intel right now as I don't have that many scrolls, it's just that from what I've read here it seems that having the right scrolls can really make a difference.

I mean: Blackburn- 8067 / 12000, T11, 120AP, ~1,000,000 exp Fels- 8071 / 12000, T11, 117AP, ~800,000 exp Mall Cop- 6316 / 6400, T9, 129AP, ~400,000 exp They don't come off as impressive as my T4s, but none of these guys are a bad choice for pushing challengers either.

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm so proud of myself - I've been doing BQs for many days in a row now, with Fayina doing the bulk, including some impossible opps ans Salima doing the leftover toughies. I finally bought a Natasha, for fun. I had always held on to my trusty P-staff and was kind of attached to it. Not sure if I need the Ether when I have Ancestral Unrest....

It's because weapons become more critical at higher tiers. Enemies start doing 50+ icons of damage instead of 20 icons of damage.

Yeah the right scrolls can be super useful like allowing you to chain freeze an opponent, block attacks, provide extra health, or provide extra attack

I dunno what your builds are if they are also fun to mess around with. With me, some pets struggle more than others because of their build or lack of AP.

I've only used the ether for Gelatin Stomper and I probably need it for the faceless ones since both are steal happy opponents

Ah that reminds me... I need to save for The Ether. . . Just so I have one for the annoying stealer jerks. That and... I'm not ready to commit to Natasha goal....

Ha, I always had the Turkey Quill for that. Obviously, didn't do much besides generate crap.... So, isn't Natasha not good enough with the bullets? Haven't played around enough, obviously. I can afford the Ether, just don't want to buy one if I don't need to.

Natasha is good, but doesn't always generate bullets. I have been getting by with that and MW but they will still steal all my stuff at times because I don't have enough bullets generated

So Ether is more reliable?

Just makes those two opponents a little easier until your pet has more stats. I find natasha more useful for more opponents. Just managed 5 wins on the faceless ones using natasha, MW and cronus. I took some losses because they didn't always steal my junk first
