Alright doing some rearranging and what not... I now have 12 pets in training. Only about 5 will get read to and 3/5 will get any decent/expensive books. As I said before... the other pets WILL get read to... once the holiday season is over. Then comes the fun and gruelling part of making a set for the smaller ones... and grinding battle eggs and what have you.... oh dear what have I gotten myself into!

reading books is the main reason I have one battle pet...lol.

I currently have 100 tomes and 136 amulets. I'm debating if I should turn some amulets in or not...

Yeeeah.... that is the biggest kick in the bottom... but I'm not looking to amass an army lol I saw others training more pets and I figure I'll see how far I can go.

Why not wait till Fireside once we get the challengers, usually good for a few amulets from Effigy. Or you could turn in half now and half later?

I was thinking of waiting until Fireside, just so I can have that little extra

you do realise the irony in sitting here complaining that the remaining challengers are too hard while you have a giant pile of stat boosters, yes? :P If you actually used some of those tomes your remaining grinding would be easier.

Yeah, I do...and I do find it funny. I think for me, I keep seeing people say things like (and this is in the past as well) to hold onto all your tomes and amulets until you're t13, or when you need to final boost to get to t13 because of how much EXP costs once you get there...

So I get like, well...do I follow that advice, or do I use some of what I have now? Is there a right or wrong way to do this?

So....this happened this morning....Havent sat in that spot in like over a decade :P

I'm sure it'll be short lived but .....

I do something similar to where I use my tomes on my tier 7-8s and buff them to 11. Use battle quests on one pet till they turn tier 13 and then battle shop buff the 13s to their final builds. I think it's a waste battle questing with a 13 so I don't. I rarely tome buff my tier 11-12 pets but I think it's fine. It depends on your final build when to tome buff, that's why I tend not to buff my 13s with tomes.

Haneul will reach t13 in 4961 points. So he's a little less than half way...somewhere in the middle I guess? And of course, his final build isn't the stats he'll be when he reaches t13

My idea for his final build is something like: 13k health 11k strength 6k speed 5k defense

His current stats are: Health: 6010 / 6010 Strength: 4150 Defense: 3410 Speed: 3470

I'm only going to have the one battle pet

Very interesting to hear about people's strategies with tomes/training/bq'ing! That means that I will use tomes more often for my T12 now and save up battle tokens.
