I’m going to do the winter wonderland HA when I get a chance! Just got home from my sister’s house so I finally have my computer again. I can never make HAs well on mobile.

Happy Subeta Anniversary!

Not much planned for me. I believe my step-siblings are coming home tomorrow, and it should be a quiet New Year's. To be quite honest, I've had enough of family for a good long while.

I suppose some of you are wondering why I said that, and I'm going to explain.

WARNING Rant ahead.

So, for Thanksgiving, the four of us (my stepmom, dad, brother, and me) went to my grandparents' apartment. My aunt, uncle, and a friend of my aunt's were also there. Now, their apartment is absolutely tiny. It barely fit all nine of us. With my anxiety problem, being so cramped just didn't work out for me. Then, on Christmas, we (all six of us, including my step-siblings!!) drove to my aunt's small house in in outskirts of Dallas. There were ten of us, a crap ton of food, and my very loud step-grandfather.

Now, my grandfather is quite a person. He's very intimidating, loud, and he has very, very strong opinions. He used to work for the Salvation Army, and if you don't know, the Salvation Army doesn't have a very good opinion of the LGBTQ+ community. Well, yours truly is non-binary AND pansexual AND demiromantic, AND I'm dating a transboy. Not a very good situation. So throughout the entire holiday season, I had to deal with being called my deadname and being misgendered.

Uh, I guess that's it for my rant. I'm just super grateful that school starts up again in about a week and I'll get to see my boyfriend again.
