I usually stay home also and just watch the ball drop at midnight. We also still call my grandma at midnight. At least my parents don't take out their siren anymore and use it. It's soo loud.

For New Years, I'll be staying in this year (as much as I had my heart set on a 20's themed NYE party). A lot of my friends have the same flu I did so none of them are really up for anything crazy. On the plus side I was able to see a friend who lives in CA now (I live in New England) last night so that was a nice pre-New Years treat. I leave for CA this weekend to visit my sister, brother-in-law and niece for my niece's first birthday and I'm really looking forward to that.
