I like the Archaeopteryx. It's considered the first bird and a transitional stage between dinosaurs and bird.

at this point they're pretty certain quite a few had feathers, plus we've been constructing them with absolutely no body fat anywhere. Someone did a drawing of what humans would look like if someone extrapolated their appearance from just the skeleton the way we do with dinosaurs, and it's pretty freaky looking.

I LOVE THAT ONE! I had no idea something like that had been discovered! How well preserved was it that we knew the color of the feathers??? That's incredible and I love it so much!

I like the Triceratops. I just loved them as a kid after seeing the movies. Made lots of drawings of them.

welllllll thennnn ahhaha a mammoth is NOT a dinosaur so i will pick the trex because it is the name of a favorite band with awesome history and marc bolan as singer i love their songs so i will love their dinosaur

My favorite dinosaur is Parasaurolophus. I think their little (big) faces are cute, and I've always loved animals with crests.

I had difficulty picking, but I would have to say Corythosaurus, because of the unusual crest on its head.

I remember reading about the Caihong find just last year. The fossil impressions were clear enough to see nanostructures on the feathers, morphologically similar to the platelet-shaped organelles that produce bright iridescent colors in modern birds.
Stunning find.

So sorry to be boring as it seems to be the most popular, but it's got to be the Tyrannosaurus Rex for me, like I adored Marc Bolan and T.Rex so there could be no other choice :)

, My favorite dinosaur is the Amurosaurus. I love duck billed dinosaurs, and the crest just adds to the gloriousness of the creature. I really fell in loved with duckbills thanks to 'Land Before Time' and little Ducky (RIP to her voice actress).
