: My favourite dinosaur must be the triceratops :D I used to love it as a kid.. I even went to a dinosaur club and made several different art types featuring this dragon. Most of them are gone now.. But I still have the clay sculpture :p

I just had to do some Googling.. I love the look of the Nigersaurus. He has such a derpy face that I just love it!

I just went to look these up! I see too many kids who constantly talk about dinosaur breeds anyway (although I think most of their favourites are made up ones from TV shows too, heh).

I always liked the Stegosaurus (those spines are so cool!), but I got to see an awesome Triceratops skeleton a few months ago. ^^

I always liked the Apatosaurus ever since seeing The Land Before Time as a kid. I loved Littlefoot and watching the movie. I even had the books on tape (I think from McDonald's) and the puppets from Pizza Hut.

I think my favorite dinosaur is the Compsognathus, usually shortened to Compy by people talking about them. I did a DnD 3.5 campaign once where I had a Compy as a familiar and it was amazing, theyre so tiny! Also imagine them fluffy with feathers cause thats how dinosaurs actually were

Triceratops is my favorite. I like their fancy little frilled bonnet!

Pterosaurs are a solid pick, love me a cute little Compsognathus (it's like a mini Velociraptor, though Velociraptors are lame looking, if you think you like those check out a Deinonychus), I really like Parasaurolophus cause of their dope horn thing, and, dude, Triceratops are just... such a solid classic fave.

I love dinosaurs! Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorite films (and a hug part of my childhood) and even though I know the Velociraptors weren't scientifically accurate in the film I can't help but have a huge soft spot for them. So Velociraptors are my favorite dinosaurs.

I always found the archaeopteryx fascinating being the ancestor of the modern bird. When I was a child, I did like velociraptors (which actually was in fact the Deinonychus) until I realised that they're actually as small as a turkey!

RE: all the people talking about ancestors of modern birds, ALL dinosaurs are ancestors of modern birds. The closes living relative to the tyrannosaurus rex is the roadrunner (I got to see one at a show at a real big aviary i went to in utah. I got to have a falcon and also a toucan stand on my arm and it was the best thing and toucans are SO CUTE)

Kosmoceratops Why? It lived on a relatively isolated island of late Cretaceous North America, Laramidia and evolved differently in appearance, uniqueness intrigues me ;)

My favorite dinosaur is the Velociraptor! I know, I know, classic Jurassic Park xD They're sneaky, fast, and kleptomaniacs--how loveable, right? I can't really say why, but I find them really interesting!

Yeah! I actually have read articles where scientists have said they're not really sure what dinosaurs looked like anymore. A lot of depictions show them having leathery skin like reptiles, but for all we know they may have been feathered creatures!

I love colors so the Caihong Dinosaur would be my fav! Caihong means rainbow in Mandarin.

The duck-size saur had iridescent plumage all over its head and chest and even may have sparkled!
