I have a BA in Childhood Education, and currently trying to find a job within my field. I freelance for two different event companies as a facepainter/special effects makeup artist. On occasion, I also volunteer at an underground punk/metal venue in ticket sales and wardrobe.
Data Entry Specialist for a Home Health agency. I sit at a desk for 9 hours on a computer which gives me plenty of chances to poke around on Subeta between paperwork.
I was a lab tech at a fairly prestigious hospital. But, it didn't work out (long story short, it was a toxic culture, and my manager let me go). So I'm unemployed. And since I didn't have an ASCP certification, it's harder to find other lab tech jobs. So I'm looking for more general office work.
Wow, so many users work with animals and here i am a freelance writer.
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
I work at a vet clinic as a tech assist, I was active duty before that.
Right now I'm working part time in the registrar's office at a local community college.
if you're ordering anything online to be shipped to you for black friday, it's extremely likely that you're purchasing from my employer 👀
that said, i'm a warehouse employee in a critical role and make sure your packages make it to the post office, so they can get to you.
I have my BA in English and had been struggling for a while to get a job in my field. I had an internship with a publishing company for a while, managed an Apple repair shop, and bounced from one tech support job to another while trying to move into a corporate environment.
A few months ago I got a job as a technical writer for a medical cannabis company and I'm loving it! Dreams really do come true :)
I work as a gardener (taking care of roses) for 6-7 months per year, and in the winter I'm unemployed. I like my job, but the physical work really takes its toll and I'm actually grateful for the winter months when I get to rest. I'm not sure if this is what I wanna do for the rest of my life, I mean it might be better to try and find something that isn't so taxing, pays better, and has a better chance of turning into a permanent all year job, but for now this suits me.
I am an interior decorator/designer for a family run local store. I get to go out to millionaires' homes or private yachts and get paid to spend their money and tell them where to put things lol. I have a degree in mechanical and architectural engineering but fate landed me this job which is sweeter than working for architecture firms behind a desk all day.
I am a customer service representative at my local food co-op. It's like being a front desk/administrative assistant but on steroids because on top of the administrative and clerical work I have to do I also have to deal with people complaining or treating me like a moron because we're out of powdered sugar or something. I have a BA in Psychology so I didn't have a lot of options for work after college and I'm hoping the skills I develop at this position can translate to something that pays a bit more... livably? It's ok though, and the benefits are decent enough for me to stick around for now.
I'm a cashier at a clothing store, but I'd like to be an author someday.
My day job is as a teaching assistant in a primary school. I actually specialise in Autism support but currently work with a wide range of children for various reasons.
However, I also co-founded an indie computer games company earlier this year, where I work as Art Director and provide all the graphics and animation work for our games. We released our first game in September and are currently working on another (much larger) project, which we're hoping to release a demo of in the next year or so.
Cleared by staff - maximum height is 325px.
I'm a preschool assistant, but I'm hoping to retrain to do Primary Teaching soon! I'm just trying to get there.
I also write and draw for lil' baby amounts of money, but I don't really plan to turn that into a full time career. My hope is to publish a couple of novels/graphic novels, I've only been published in anthologies and stuff so far. 0:
I'm actually out of work right now. I did work as a receptionist at an assisted living home. I loved that job, except for my bitch of a boss. She fired me in March because I let two nurses in to see a patient, nurses she told me could come in. That was on a Friday, and then I get a phone call Sunday evening telling me not to bother coming in on Monday. I don't know if corporate yelled at her or what, but she basically said she never told me to let them in and I endangered the residents (which I would never fucking do, I'd have killed myself first) so she had to fire me. So long story short, I'm in litigation with the parent company right now who is still trying to deny my unemployment. It's almost been 10 months, letters back and forth, two hearings, and still no unemployment. They probably think I'm going to give up, but with both hearings in my favor, they can fuck right off on that count.
So. Right now I'm job hunting and just signed on with Manpower to help me find work. They're sending my resume to a local electronics manufacturer only 2 miles from home tomorrow, so fingers crossed that goes well. The pay isn't great ($13.50 an hour) and the hours aren't either (6a-3p) but the commute would be amazing, especially with the shit winter roads around here.
Huh. That turned into a mini rant and you probably just wanted a job title, eh? lol
I work for a BPO and I used to be a customer service rep, but now I do office work for the company like make letters and stuff. Kinda boring, but better than dealing with customers directly.
I just moved to a new state but before that I was a residential manager at a home for adults with developmental disabilities. I did that for many years. I just got a job as a caregiver here for temporary work until I get my phlebotomy license renewed next year, then I’ll look for phlebotomy work :)
