The next sewing project (well, once I've got the glow in the dark hat's velcro sorted), will be getting my other jeans hemmed (not quite so challenging on those, as it's literally bias binding as I didn't have much denim to make them from, so they came out a little shorter than I should've done 😊), then I might see if I can get the pea coat done that I started last year (that was shelved because the sleeves came out way too snug - I bought a little extra fabric, so hopefully I can use the sleeve piece from the denim jacket pattern and mash it into the pea coat armhole :P)

Yes, actually I want to stitch the character Eve from Wall-e on a pair of jeans that I may end up cutting off to make into capris, not sure yet on that last bit. But I wanted to do this design ideas last year but didn't get around to it yet. So now is the time. I also have some Christmas gifts I need to embroider. A pillowcase set for one brother and for one sister a Dr Who shirt. I don't know all the designs yet, but it's always fun to make them. :D

thanks :d I did get in a bit of a mess trying to use the whiteout with the wolf zapper skin yesterday - the fuzziness of the skin shows round the edge of the whiteout section, so I had to add in the table in the foreground to cover it over 😊 I love the owlish look you've got :D

I bet that Wall-e character will look awesome when it's done though :D You defintiely need to share photos of them all when they're done! :D nods I decided back when I worked in a fancy clothing shop that I would never pick clothing that wasn't washable (unless it was a suit I had to get for work) - it's so much easier just to be able to lob it in the washing machine :P

that sounds like it's very easy to get in a complete tangle in trying to work out what everyone is on about! At least over here there's no so much in the way of dialects, although my worst thing is understanding some of the really strong accents :P hehe I bet he can destroy it faster than you can knit it! 😇

There are even several ways of saying "I", depending on where you live. Must be super confusing for those wanting to learn the language for sure. o_o It can be tricky with some irish and scottish accents at least. :P I just think british accents are the best tho. <3

now that would be enough to make me just run away screaming at the thought if needing to learn that!! :P I can handle Irish accents, some Scottish accents are ok (although if they're really broad accents I just stare blankly 😊) but I think the Liverpool accent is my hardest one to follow.... but apparently my own accent is quite hard for others to understand if they're not locals 😇

And I bet he makes one heck of a mess when he rips those toys apart too! ;)

laughs sheer determination.... or boredom maybe :P I just started clicking on random foreground / background items in the hope that something would cover that middle space :P If you don't want the HA body showing from the waist down (like if it's covers with trousers / boots), you can layer a low foreground item over the base to cover the arms without needing the whiteout 😇 Thanks :d It's not as creative as your Cheshire Cat today though :D

Hmm, wasn't what I was going for, but thanks. It's rather if you look at the tree with the face it looks like the tree is a person hunched and the lower branch is an arm which make it look rather creepy... unless I'm the only weirdo that sees this.

I agree with you completely: fabric needs to be washable! I have a few things that are hand-wash only but it irritates me to do it and I have to remember! :D BTW your new HA is so cute - you worked that new sweater so well!

Back when I worked in that clothing shop, the staff reckoned that the main reason some of the clothing was listed as dry-clean only was just because it wasn't tested to be washing machine safe.... but I wouldn't want to risk it just in case!!
