I thought so, but I'm not sure. I got one of the new items just now, but it didn't count towards the achievement.

Maybe it only counts if you get an item for putting in a like item, or with the item name in it? Like the blob kitty turning into a rift blob kitty? Not sure though.

Hmm, so if you don't get it when you get a random item out of the rift and you don't get it when you get one of the new "game prize rift items" out of the rift, when do you get it? Maybe it's broken...

I added to my post, but the achievement says "transformed" so I'm wondering if it's specific like getting the rift blob kitty from a regular blob kitty and such. But I don't know.

I'm thinking there's probably some ways to just get random items even if they're not related. It will probably take a while to figure all of this out, if we ever do figure it out completely. At least it's sticking around as a permanent feature so we can experiment endlessly. :P
