Glitter's sister, Dannygyrrl was lamenting about what she was going to do with two hyperactive teenagers holed up in their apartment for the next three months. I told her to come up to the fresh air of the foothills and hang out at Healer's Hall and do chores. We have gardens to put in, early berries to harvest soon, and weeds to pull (once the snow melts). Her stunned silence wasn't very reassuring that I had offered the best solution to her dilemma.

hi everybody, it's been a while! I haven't been on Subeta at all for like, 5, 6 months I think? Life hit me hard with a bunch of stuff all at once, and things got really rough - so much so that I couldn't even log on and say that I was going on hiatus. So, I've kinda unintentionally been on hiatus for a long time, but with some pushing from my wonderful, supportive friend , I'm back! I just wanted to say I'm super sorry for going MIA... I'll try to be back and active, but I probably won't be on as often as I used to. <3

In case anyone has been wondering what the hell I've been doing this near half-year, lol: I went through a really bad breakup back in October, and we kind of stayed in touch just enough for it to be hard for me to get over it since it was like another mini-breakup every couple of weeks when one of us once again decided it wasn't working, lol. Don't know if that makes any sense? But it was like a bunch of mini break-ups all the way until December and then we tried to give it another go in late November but of course, that didn't work out again. So those couple of months, plus January, were really rough. On top of that, I was hit with a whole lotta work stuff and was just super overwhelmed + stressed, and I was dealing with family shit too. Mentally, I was in one of the worst places I've been in a long time. Basically was really depressed, not eating, not talking to people, you know the drill. So with all that going on, I couldn't even bring myself to try to log on here. But I took some time for myself, gave it time, and am just taking everything one day at a time. I am feeling better now and more like myself, so I'm trying to get back into the hang of things. With this virus and everything, I'm finally getting the chance to actually unwind and heal, ironically, since I'm now doing everything from home and haven't left the house in like five days, LOL. But you know, things are starting to get back to normal, so hopefully I'll be able to be more active from now on, just not as much as before because I kinda realized that taking a step back from being on all the time is better for me.

I hope everyone is staying safe with all the coronavirus stuff going on! When I wash my hands I like to sing the chorus of I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys in my head, since that's like 20-ish seconds :P I hope none of you all are in Italy or China right now! All my extended family lives in China, so they've been telling me how crazy it is over there. It's crazy enough in the US, and we don't have it nearly as bad as them! Sending some virtual hand sanitizer to all you bears ~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~* <3

omg I'm so sorry to hear D: D: I feel you on the breakups, I myself have been in many online relationships and they all don't work well, so I'm done with it and would only want a rl relationship :) I do feel rl relationships are more stable than online ones.

Yea I remember you are Chinese too :D I've also families back in China and so far they're just staying at home and only go out in masks and gloves and whatnot, but they are doing good :)

I am glad your in a better place in life. If anything from your breakup, you will gain the knowledge of what you want and need in a relationship. My son went through a real bad break up, and was hurt and angry initially. But later, he said it taught him what he wanted and needed in a relationship. Which he said was a valuable life lesson.

Even if you just come in wave, thats good enough your just busy in life but okay.

i always say i wish we had an emotional bank" one we can draw from to relieve emotional pain which is so damn intense..i would certainly deposit tons into it when feeling good....like said..you WILL find certain things now that you know you WONT put up with in a relationship. i am glad you are back to us on subeta. i havent met you yet but i hate it when a loved one from HERE gets lost for too long..we all mean so veryveryvery much to one another..HUGS glad your on the mend!

Hi all is it just me or does this corona virus flu is at an odd time ... I read book back in 1981 by a man named Dean Koontz and in this book (which by the the way for those of u who don't know who Dean Koontz is he writes scary fiction novels) he writes about a flu that is brought into the United States from China with the same name as the news said who it was who brought the flu here also in this novel it says the year is 2020 when this takes place and this is now taking place .... This was written 40 years ago not by someone who is predicting something No it's a scary book this nothing but a scare tactic by all of the United Nations to put us all into a scare frenzy...... I learned these tactics myself when being in the military think about they want to stay in don't touch nothing r u kidding me ... Everyone does what the government says to do but we as the people do we know it's real if we all run inside and hide it's over for us as a society that we know have this is just the first wave of scare tactics to keep u indoors and not see what is about to happen when we r to scared to come outside when they start showing up in the white protective suits on the streets telling u it's not safe to go outside cuz u will get sick in the mean time the heat or air conditioner is running exchanging air from outside to inside... Just think about it ... If we all r inside how r we supposed to find out how many people r actually sick with this super virus... Viruses can be made in labs by our own government then they say come get your free flu shot .... They just pumped u full of a virus ... Back in the early 80's when Red Cross first started helping the people in Africa they brought over tons of all kinds of shots to give these poor people by injecting them with the HIV... About three or four years later it was a full blown epidemic ... When the news report came out that the CDC found the source of where HIV originated from they said it originated in the same place where the Red Cross had been a few years earlier helping these people .... Please read this a couple of times and let it really sink in ... Thank u for reading my thoughts for the day

Didi - you were the first person I thought of when I was typing all that about the virus! Most of my family haven't left their homes in nearly two months now, since they live in Suzhou and Beijing and they can't really risk anything with so many people. And I feel you with that online relationship stuff, too; my ex and I were long-distance since we met while we were both vacationing in New York. He lives in the UK so there was a 5 hour time difference too, so even when we could talk it usually wasn't for very long and we never got to see each other in person. Relationships where you can actually see the other person are much better, I agree, LOL! :)

Sydney - oh for sure... after this I've been thinking that I will never settle for less or forget my worth ever again. I've been reflecting and I'm definitely taking a lot from it in regards to life lessons. I'm sure I'll look back on this in 50 years and laugh at how naive I was. ^^ I've not been in that many relationships, so hopefully with the next one I'll know things better lol!
