glad you enjoyed seeing the crocheting. It makes me remember my grandmothers who both loved crocheting. My Maternal grandma made my 3 sisters and I each tablecloths out of lace. We each got to pick the one we wanted, big decision to make as a 6 year old. That memory has been with me over the whole span of my life of a little over 5 decades. Yes bears I am getting old and who cares.

Titans running back had over 180 yards rushing in each of his last 3 games Chiefs held him to 67 yards rushing I think the Chiefs will win by at least two TD

I went to Washington DC to visit older son and his wife. Temps were below freezing some mornings. Well I hope your not in pain from your broken foot. I felt your pain after I had foot surgery last March. Sleeping bag snowsuit would have been perfect. I can’t wait to get home and get back to crocheting on baby blanket. Stepped up on a stool not meant to be stepped on aI guess (11 days ago) and broke the most exterior bone on my right foot (metatarsal ) so no driving for me. Such a bummer, I have had a house guest and no way to take her anywhere: she can't drive, as she is from Australia and they drive on the other side of the street. She has had to tour around on her own. Not what we had envisioned. Sh did get to hitch-hike for the first time!

not shaking my soda can that vigorous I don't want it to splash out all over me then I would sticky and I can't stand be sticky ... Hell I don't let anyone chew gum in or around my house it always ends up all over everything ... I don't even let them buy it cuz I know what will happen ... I sound mean but it's gross when people spit it out in public it's just as bad as throwing a cigarette butt on the ground it is very discusting ... Weed is illegal and it helps with diseases such as diabetes cancer glaucoma, and many others ... While cigarettes are legal and give people cancer, heart disease, emphasize. But u can buy that with no problems hell I remember when I was a kid u could go into the gas station or store and buy cigarettes for your parents with a note from them... My parents never smoked but some of my friends parents did and we used to go them cigarettes with a note

well what we're u doing up a non stepping stool ... If I would have done that my family would have said that's what u get for not being safe.. cuz that is my to say is safety first.. think of every senerio u can think of before doing the task set at hand the good the bad and especially the safest way even if it takes a few minutes longer to get the task done ...now I'm sorry u broke your foot and your house guest must be bored with no one to drive her around. .. hitchhiking is not safe in this world anymore to many crazies in the world looking to hurt people only for there own pleasure just have her b super careful

it's still safer here than most every where else. My kids hitch-hiked all their high school years, and I still do if I am coming home from the city and don't have the car and missed the bus (they only come here every 2 hours or so). I am trying really hard not to resent anybody... I asked my husband to close the window because cold air was blowing in and he said he couldn't, so I was just looking at the window to see how it is supposed to be shut. When I fell my grandkids came running and I told one to get their dad. He said what were you doing and I said "trying to close the window" and he said that's what boys are for and I said I had already ASKED a boy... and my son in law latched it easy speazy. The stool shouldn't have broken. I am so so grateful it didn't break one of the many times I was holding a grandchild up to see (we took care of the school's hamsters over winter break). But I don't think about safety all that much; I live rather conservatively. I have already set most parameters in place. I raised 10 kids in this house. ;) I am also so so grateful I didn't break my hip! Or the glass table that also moved a bit when I fell. Or on a grandchild. Lots to be grateful about. It's not like I was doing some of those stunts we see on the Darwin awards! ;P

oh I didn't know the stool broke while u were standing on it that's messed up y wouldn't your husband close it isn't that what he is supposed to do is make u happy and do things for u so u don't have to .. my wife says I made her lazy ... But not really she still does a lot but I always help with everything dishes laundry cooking I think it is everyone's responsibility for there own mess ... I guess that is just my mind set after being in the military plus I grew up cleaning everyday my mom would leave us a list of things to do everyday after we got home from school or before we went ... Summertime it was before we would leave the house for the day ... I wouldn't hitch hike here in America that's for sure

when I was living the USA with my husband (but had been in Israel 10 years prior) my husband didn't "let" me pick up hitch-hikers there either, and kept telling me we were not in Israel! I hitched once or twice in Ohio near college when I had a flat and had to get to work. I picked up a hitch-hiker (before I met hubby) but since I didn't have any brakes, he held on to the OH-SH*T bar with all his might. Funny stories to tell. My friends did an intervention on me because I wanted to hitch to Little Rock, Arkansas from Kent, Ohio. LoL I did meet some awesome people on the bus there. <3
