I'm doing Inktober this year. 31 drawings in ink, 31 days.
here are my first three days worth of drawings

I'm going to post these on the other forums too...just in case there is anybody who wants to join in the challenge.
: Thank you for your very kind compliment. I love the Redwall Series. The very interesting thing is, I was inspired by Wind in the Willows and had written two complete manuscripts at nearly 400,000 words before I was even made aware of Brian Jacques books. I was delighted to read another author's tales of weasels, stoats, badgers and squirrels. The main difference in my tales and his are that my animals deal with humans and technology much like Mole, Ratty and Toad do and my weasels, are not evil. Oh...and mice are food, not friends.
Oh I have to read every day, or its not a normal day for me. I have been running doing last minute things before younger son's wedding next week.
waves hello to everyone

You are very talented. Love the drawings!
: Thank you my dear! I doing this month-long drawing challenge. I'm a beginner drawer, and even more of a beginner ink-drawer. But I'm learning a lot and having fun and staying up way too late.
More drawings for October 4 and 5
This is my best friend Madison Sparrow and her beau Louis Miles . I didn't have time to do this on tan paper and use a dip pen, I just inked in my working sketch with a micro fiber pen.

This drawing is my other best friend Merril Starchild. I spent about 4 hours on this one.

- beautiful! If I could draw like that I'd have some late nights too - I imagine it would be hard to stop once you get started. Thank you for sharing your drawings...would love to see more :)
- Weddings! hmmmm why is the first thing that comes to my mind CAKE? :)
Sounds super cool! Feel bad for the mice tho lol Is there any place I can read them? Or they for your eyes only?
: I like your tail....You can't see mine....Well, mice have always been portrayed as cute and rats as sneaky, and that just isn't true in the wild. Mice and rats in our world aren't sentient and have been selectively bread as livestock for centuries. Honestly, you haven't lived until you've had a nice mouse-bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich.

A word of warning if you read it: I write in a "stream of conscious" format, in that I do not edit the manuscript as I write, I concentrate on getting the details of the story out. This manuscript has never been edited for content, length, spelling, punctuation or grammar, read at your own risk! (LOL) Consequently, the manuscript is overly long and filled with a lot of exposition, details that I the author need to know, but do not necessarily advance the story. And I have the horrible habit of mixing tenses, which comes for years of role-playing. But enjoy, you will get a real sense of who I really am if you do.
If you ohrase it like that... I guess I wanna eat mice now. I will get to read it after I finish my work day. I don't mind the "stream of conscious" format, I write like that as well, I just edit it later, or try taking things out of it to make something more complete.
Lets all wear a pink hugga bear in support of Breast cancer this month
thats a good idea .. I just got home from visiting my mom

Done! Hug!
Calendar days are closer than they appear! [item=mocking clock]
Thank you all for the nice compliments. I will keep posting these drawings here because it is part of the requirements of Inktober that we are supposed to share our work online with folk.
Drawings for October 6 and 7
This is my older cousin Bosco Wheezle. He is the Master Fisher in Glen Meadow and the most friendliest of all the Wheezles, he always has jokes. Suffice it to say, he is also the largest, almost half again as tall as I am. (though I am quite short) He's taller then even Sparky, my other cousin. Bosco is always eating, which is why when I drew him, he had a muffin in his paw.

This is Daisy Wheezle and her beau at the time, Skippy Landotter. They're married now, is my age and they have nine offspring by three litters. I don't see her much anymore, Daisy and Skippy moved away just before the Great Civil War and they got involved in a dispute in a neighboring watershed. They were a very cute couple when they were young adolescents.

PS I posted these on the other forum too.
As always, I'm greatly enjoying your stories! But my! There are so many of them :O
