Thanks for all your good thoughts and well wishes. I spoke to the oncologist today and she told me that my CT scans I did last Friday showed no cancers outside the uterus .... very good news. Hopefully, after an operation I won't have to do radiation. My surgery is tenatively scheduled for May 30th. I appreciate all your good thoughts and prayers.

Hey Sydney;) It was really quiet and not nearly long enough. We actually had Easter dinner at our local Chinese buffet, there were a lot of people there, so everything was really fresh. It was delicious and I didn't have to cook or clean up-SCORE!! How was your Easter? Did you hear about the bombings in Indonesia Sunday morning-how awful! I heard 200 people were dead and 450 were injured!! How sad that we can't get along with each other any better than your average class of 4-year-olds.

Love going to chinese buffets with all those different veggies. My easter was quiet, my son and I had a movie marathon.

Have you ever tried Mei Fun? It's the little crystal or rice noodles like in Thai food, with veggies and maybe eggs. I love it!! Our local buffet has it as a regular daily item. The only thing that's better is if you can go to a buffet and they have "Mongolian Grill." Where they have all of this fresh stuff that you can get whatever you want and they grill if for you. Awesome!

Question on the rice noodles what are their nutritional like sugars, carbs, and protein. I have to avoid macaroni, potatoes and bread, because I am a weight loss patient. I can have quinoa its high in protein. But I eat it rarely. Grilling is nice adds a different taste.

I can't imagine giving up pasta or bread! Then again I could never have my stomach operated on, for reasons you already know. I'm glad it worked out for you though.
