is there a minimum recommended number for defense? i was playing with the thought of widowmaker being low def / high speed and ceasefire being high def / no speed for character reasons, but i'm not sure how low is 'too low' o;

Gonna spitball here and say... 500-1000? Though not really sure. I think you would want some defence to make life easier but not too low that you struggle.

Why not check the top 25 pets list and see if maybe someone has a low defense build?

Yeah I really don't know D: maybe 2000-2500 to be even safer? Not many people have a low defense build from what I have seen. This is hard.

my minimum was going to be 5k (for the achievement, really, since it'll be a long while before cease's stats are in the thousands), but it looks like the pets in the overall top 25 are hovering more in the 6/7k range. hrm

judging by monstorm and kyy's records, you could swing 2k or lower...? i'm not sure if i'm brave enough for that, though, :p

Well in the end if you decide to go for it there is always the leeching option. XD

It's not quite the same as I only have very specific goals with my pet Caerbannog, but I had the same question about his defense a while back: Low defense build? Obviously he's way behind yours (Tarrant is my highest battler rn) but I'm keeping him to around 500~600 defense for now, might leech him lower later. I basically learnt that against some challengers HP=Def anyway, so he'll be great against 10% of things, but outclassed by evenly trained Tarrant on the rest, which I'm fine with

Verdugo is going to have 5k def and Oranos is going to have 2k def, maybe even less. There are some pets with super high health (15k+) that do just fine with low def.

Are we waiting to make a new board?

We just keep the old one until we hit 5k posts. It's less hassle that way.

Hello 2019! I've been out of the loop for a while, but I should really get to battling again. Maybe this year I'll manage to get my intelligence up. First I'll try to get a new weapon though. I'm eyeballing Natasha. I got a Possessed Bow, so I'm not completely defenseless in the fire department, but having a Natasha would be nice :) I'm still needing a good ice blocker too. Have any interesting weapons been released lately?

Unfortunately nothing good. People seem to like malhuili but unstable syringe has the better ice block and is easier to get.
