I bought the mecha for under 60m. I checked the items it requires and I couldn't get some of them and they're sold much more than the cost of buying it. Normally by the time I can make one I would have needed it long ago :P

I now can do Sarah quests again :D

Occlumens is slowly creeping closer to the cap, I'm still hoarding EXP for when his defence reaches the limit I want and tomes won't work on him any more.

Next in line is Numair, who will hit tier five today and can manage around ten BQs on his own - it would be more but I don't want to splash out on decent weapons when he's going to outgrow them. He's going to end up a glass cannon, mostly strength and speed.

When does autotraining stop being good value, by the way? On days where I get at least one Morty card from quests it doesn't really matter because hey, free autotraining, but some days are stingy and I'm running low on CSC.

I wonder what completely broke with Effigy when the other Fireside challengers came out to play without a problem?

That's a ratio of 16.6% for the tomes. That means you need around 6 amulets to get 1 tome. The amulets are going for around 350k. Multiply that by 6 means it costs about 2.1m to make a tome and currently, the tomes are going for around 3m. So, even though it originally seems bad... you still saved compared to if you would have bought the tomes ;)

That’s actually not bad at all, I think. The rate is usually 1:7 right? Yours was a little over 1:6. I just divided 500 by the 83 tomes you got, math is definitely not my strong suit so that might be the wrong way to do that, but it seems right to me.

You can also think of it as 100:700 to make the numbers closer to what you turned in, so by contrast 83:500 is right on par/actually pretty good.

It just depends on how much you value CSC I guess. I never autotrain, others do it until their pet is only getting four or five sessions per day. I guess you just have to decide how many stats are worth 25CSC to you.

So I'm currently trying to unlock Gunter as a challenger, and he's giving me a bit of grief. The guide states that his unlock involves "Have multiple pets with 0 HP and visit Gunter at SAI HQ," but does anyone know if there's a minimum for what constitutes "multiple"? I've tried with five 0hp pets, but haven't gotten anything yet.

I think I remember I needed like 6 or 7 before it worked. It depends on how many pets you have.

and Thanks for being good at math. Me. Not so good. I guess I’ll save 700 mage amulets in 2019. Now I’m going to use them on my second battle let. I guess it’s better than getting 500 shards. ;)

I don’t remember. Check to make sure you didn’t already unlock him, sometimes the event just doesn’t show up. And then maybe put them all at 0 and see what happens?
