Both Hollykins and WhiterWinter both stepped back a few months (ugh, could be wrong on dates..this crazy year!) and I definitely miss them. I'm hoping they may return for Lumi as it always holds fond memories for me with this group and our secret santa. I wish them all the best <3

Aw yeah. I have missed Holly and her mom, and think of them often.

I was suprised as well but with everything that's been happening it's not suprising that people have been taking a step back from things.

Maybe they'll be back after things have settled. RL is taking a big chunk of everyone's energy at the moment. It would be nice to see them again for the chatterbox secret santa.

I'm okay. Busy making reuseable masks for the winter. Since I have a sewing machine I've been trying to help out my friends, neighbours and colleagues so they don't need to keep buying the disposable ones. How are things with you?

I do miss everyone at the chatterbox. Normally we're doing something for the summer or talking about events but everyone has been so busy this year I think we all need to focus. But there's always Subeta to come chill out at. :) Are you okay?

It's been a brutal year for me on many levels. Coming up on one year of my job loss, which was followed by COVID and a ton of personal stresses, but we are hanging in there and hope for better things ahead!

The tornado punched a hole in our roof and insurance is juuust now working on settling that. I really hope we can get the roof repaired before winter and that they'll cover it all as it has a lot of other damage from the storm but they are trying to low ball it and I'm really exhausted with the idea of negotiating more! Fingers crossed that the proposal will be better than they've insinuated.

Thank you. ^_^ It was to help out when masks were short but now I'm being asked for them. Well, I could certainly send a couple if you like. I've been working with some Christmas themed fabric lately in case we want to send our friends some small gifts. If you want to try my email again, I can send you soem photos of them so you can see what they look like. They're pretty basic though.

I'm sorry to hear things have been so tough. I really hoped they would have settled by now. Insurance is such a pain. My car got written off last year and the sheer amount of people and discussions and trying to work out who you need to talk to to finish things off is a complete nightmare. I hope you can get things organised and get enough to complete the repairs before the winter. If you would like some reuseable masks, let me know.

I wish I could say I'm back - but likely I am not just yet (I'm going to try tho!) . Things are going so well - my little girl is 9 months already! She's starting to walk - and she's been keeping me very busy.

I'm going to try to stick around for the Halloween events coming up tho - it's always been one of my faves!

We're not going to be having a plot or event for Morostide this year. Sorry! We're a skeleton crew at the moment and lol real world is insane. I'm hoping to get a few little things for y'all to do while collecting items, but it won't be a big event.

I'm actually saddened to have read that this morning. Morostide and Survival have always been my favorite events here. Not that I don't like Luminare, but that's the 3rd event I like lol. Hopefully they will come out with atleast something small for Halloween at the end of the month. I was just surprised they waited until 10/1 to ask for everyone's opinions for ideas for this month's usual event.

Probably just me but I like this site as it helps me to take a break from the craziness of the real world. I was hoping this one place wouldn't have been affected by it but nothing is safe any more. :(

Reading through the comments and the thread, there should be some form of ToT but it won't have any of the old items as staff keeps hitting at some other event coming up where old items will be released again.
