Is it as simple as friending Mathis and hen losing a battle to anyone?

- Friended Mathis last night and you don't get a response (the NPC account hasn't been touched in a long time), so he doesn't show up n your friends list.

Whomp whomp I figured it couldn’t be that simple! How do you find his page? Does he have a pet that your pet can friend?

Tried friending Captain Cuddles with my archan and then losing a battle, no such luck

Ugh, the only reason I can think that Mathis would be unhappy if you lost is because of faulty weapons or not defending yourself correctly, because he makes weapons/weapon materials. But if that's not it, then I have no idea what is. :(

- I was thinking that if you punished your pet for some reason. Like they're our dependable friends, then we punish them (but people have tried taking away, minions, putting up for adoption ,transferring, trying to go into battle with 0 HP, zapped).

I would never abandon my pets T-T

Yeah definitely keep that in mind. Subeta wouldn't want you spending millions of sP on potions or making people abandon/create certain pets.

Still no luck eh... wow this is going a bit too far! XD I kid, perhaps it's best we don't figure things out right away, can't battle and finish everything in 10 seconds. Hehe.

I DO! I'm actually training one to be around 400 total stats and some intellect in order to be a nice surprise for a pound surfer.

But I'd probably never abandon a pet like Chums. Unless I found out I had lung cancer or.. no, I take that back... I'd take Chums to my grave. It's my chum after all.

That reminds me, I still need to find a home for Rillien. No takers on a new battle home so far T-T

I had a weirdly hard time adopting out tier 4's too. And I don't think anyone ever actually battled with them.
