XD ok good. So lower tier pets then? For those pets I have one really good infinite use scroll, gotf and then something like cobalt so around 40 AP? Being able to equip another gotf though would be nice though since it’s so OP at lower tiers

I’m not sure what lights of sprites does, but divine denizhen is a good scroll for low tier pets, it’s just expensive to buy and possibly expensive to make.

Interesting, Ballista also got an upgrade at some point that I think went unnoticed.

IT originally did 14-25 icons which is what is listed in guides and subetalodge, but now it does 27-37 icons base (+4 mods)

Ballista isn't a Bomb, its a multiuse constant.

Also i'm testing the rate right now and i'm at 22/68 for strong hits.. Which is much closer to 1/3 than 1/5 which was previously reported.

If these things are true, then modded out x4 - That is giving Ballista a ~90 icon per turn average + Curses + 10% Heal (No defense) and you can dual equip these things.

That means that End game, when you really don't need defense to beat BQs anymore Dual Ballista is going to get you through BQs faster than any other combo.

This is probably still a small sample size, and i'm kinda doing mental math here on the fly instead of meticulously recording it.

It’s like a multi use bomb that offers no defense. For a T13 pet where defense doesn’t matter, it could be useful for BQs. In all other circumstances though I don’t find it useful. Doesn’t justify the cost just to make BQs go faster. BQs only take around 10 mins at this point if I do them with my main pet.

Ooo, interesting, I always liked the Ballista and it's crazy amount of icons[sup]sometimes[/sup] and it's cheap, well cheaper xD

My goal on here has always been to make BQs go as quick as possible spare no expense :P . I despise battle quests, I have a set called the BQ bomber, where I have been putting bombs as the first 2 items and a Morosbane scroll at the front of my set forever, to OHKO as many challengers as humanly possible.

To me this is fascinating. If these numbers are right - Ballista is more damage on average than Acorn Bomb. For OHKOs Acorn bombs consistency will probably win out though.

I'm curious how long BQs take me. I think i'm under 5 minutes.

how did you make sometimes a TM? xD They should be pretty cheap until you hit around 700 intel

haha that will be quite a feat to go quicker. I think I actually may be closer to 5 mins with my main. I will have to time it sometime, but this month I am battling with my T11. That takes around 10 - 15 mins, depending on how many impossible level quests I let him do. The longest part of BQs for me is when I am clicking back and forth in between battles (start level, select pet, go to battle, return to battle quest, rinse and repeat).

Maybe it would be good too in order to grind through 100+ battles of the easier challengers if you're looking for tomes.

Do you have two? I have two I can test for you if you like. They're just collecting dust at this point.

Ya I have 2. Thats how I found out they were actually pretty decent :P

Acorn Bomb + BHB would be better for grinding easy opponents since it would Guarentee the OHKOs. If you were going for 30-50K wins on an easy opponent Ballistas would be the best though.
