I really really extremely want:That's exactly why I've been away. Nothing new happening around here.. just got bored of it. I'll be re-invigorated once Vesnali starts. That's why I've been checking in!
Still not started :(
How have you been?
Thank you! I love yours!!! :-)
I have some nail decals but always forget to try using them. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow when I paint my nails! :-D
So did you sleep last night after your 2 hour nap? I love naps but then I don't sleep at night. Ugh The Impostors is appealing to me but not sure it's actually a good show. lol
Awwww at least you got some chicks. I hope the big ones don't pick on them!
I feel hate/love for events. I love them but then I feel compelled to spend all of my online time on subeta and then I get sick of it. :-P
I totally feel you. hugs We lost our Tiger 3-4 years ago and I still occasionally think I see him out of the corner of my eye or when I wake up in the morning I feel like he's on the floor next to my bed waiting to jump up, even though there's nobody there.
It must be fun gardening in the Southern California climate - so many yummy choices. Are you guys still having trouble with drought, where you are? Choices are bit more limited here (Zone Four) so if it's perennial it needs to be very cold hearty ;)
It must have been hard to move away from all those lovely fruit trees. When I was younger we had a garden but we couldn't grow fruit/veggies because the neighbors would have stolen them (one time when we were on vacation our neighbor literally dug the flowers out of our garden and planted them in theirs - they were really well established coneheads we had cultivated for years). And then a new owner bought our building and tore out the gardens entirely and put 'patios' in instead :(
None of the local nurseries sell dwarf trees only semi-dwarf which are still like 12-15 feet when they're fully grown. I really don't know the size of our yard but it's kind of broken up into hard to use small chunks. Hopefully there is another apple in the neighborhood and that'll be enough fingers crossed
I really like your idea of putting up signs about spraying the berries lol But yeah I think I'll try to figure out some kind of 'cage' for them.
I just sold bean bag for 100 mln xD

I feel like its never going to start T.T It could be any day now :O
:D I forgot to take off a pair of eyes at first and I looked like I was having a really bad makeup day XD
:O love love love your ha today :O
Thanks Di! hugs
So sorry to hear you suffer from migraines too and treated so unfairly. hugs
I had one yesterday due to the weather. :( I get more than one type of migraine and even a "stomach" migraine from time to time.
Migraines run in both sides of my family, both my maternal and paternal Grandmothers had them. My Dad used to have them. One of my siblings gets them aside from me, I have 5 siblings. My son has gotten a few. My son and hubby are understanding thankfully. I am a "homemaker" but also babysit my niece up to 3 times a week. I have to have her often when I do have a migraine or I get so tired watching her I get a migraine.A time or two my sister in law will ask how I am, when dropping my niece off, and I would say I have a migraine and will say sorry about that. She doesn't ask anymore because I guess she doesn't want to hear it. It is hard. I have only had medication for them for about 5 years. The meds work most of the time but I can't drive after taking them and sometimes have a hard time thinking straight afterwards, I also get dizzy. I tried taking something daily to help prevent migraines but I made me gain weight(35 pounds). Though my doctor said it wasn't the meds making me gain. But it was. Once I stopped taking them I stopped gaining for no reason. ( I was exercising regularly and on weight watchers at the time)
People get upset or confused with me when someone will ask are you coming over on the weekend (for example) and I say I will be migraine permitting.
I hate when someone asks how is your day going and you say you are suffering from a migraine and they act like they wished they didn't ask as it somehow now has ruined their day?!? I get that a lot.
It is unreal how people are treated with a chronic illness. Like we choose to be like this?!
I had a hard time in high school because I missed so much school. I still got pretty good grades even though I missed so much time. I almost got kicked out of school from missing time. So for awhile I went to school with a migraine but laid in the "sick room" at the school in the dark all day to appease them, finally they realized I was better off staying home.

I live in SoCal so the drought is here - it's been here for the entire life of California even back before it was a state (I'm not kidding). Technically it's normal for this area to never get rain but people just think it does. lol Also I think the bigger problem is the use of ground water not the lack of rain or drought. I doubt that SoCal will ever leave a drought condition. Even last year when it was declared over because we had an abundance of snow-pack, we were still technically in a drought (though for a desert it is normal). lol shrug
There is this spray you can coat on berries and it does not harm them but looks like there is something wrong with them so people won't eat them. I learned about it while in school but now I can't remember the name of it. If I do I'll let you know. Before I moved (which was difficult, true) we had a naval orange bush and all the neighbors would teal them and it made me so sad. I would go out at night and try to pick the ones from the street side before people could steal them, only one year was I successful in getting a lot. I do understand that pain of losing a crop you cared over to neighbors/street goers. That is horrible (and kind of funny) that your neighbors stole your flowers! I have to admit that one of my neighbors (before moving) dug up bulbs from a nice neighbor and planted them in their front yard as well. So I think the problem is kind of prevalent.
Don't you just hate/love that migraines are genetic and can be traced through the lineage like that? It's cool but annoying because if someone in your immediate family has migraines it raises your chances of having them a ton! I've got 7 siblings but I am the only one with chronic migraines. I had one sister who has had maybe 3 her whole life. Both my parents have them randomly but less than 5 a year for both. My dads mother has migraines as well.
My mom gets stomach and head migraines randomly as well. I have abdominal migraines but mine are not like what my mom gets. She get a migraine which results in the runs/stomach distress like nausea and dizziness. I get severe pain and a slew of other migraine symptoms - so fun. lol winks
Yes, it can be so hard and frustrating when people ask but then you know they regret asking. I usually just don't mention it anymore because It would always be the answer. I think people just want to hear you are doing well. This is how I understand it, pretend someone is not asking you how you are doing. Let's say they are asking you what color your eyes are. So every day you say the same thing because they never change. Eventually they will either stop asking and just assume its the same. In this scenario I would simply not say the color of my eye and instead just talk about everything not the color of my eye, because I know it's there and I know it's a constant. I think they do too and they feel helpless and bad for you which makes them feel worse about themselves. That is when people tart avoiding you. LOL I have found that out too. Does that example make sense?
Most people don't understand. Most people feel awkward, embarrassed, guilty, or disbelieving, helpless, etc. so all of that comes into play. It is hard to deal with as a migraine sufferer because you are literally in pain, dizzy, nauseated, confused, disoriented, lethargic, etc. yet they still manage to make it about them and act all put out because you are suffering. hugs I am sorry.
:( Sadly it happens to us all I think. Nobody is really alone in that boat, if they have a chronic condition that is.
You know nobody believed me in high school, they told me I was making it up. So I literally went through life and never told a single person I as suffering extreme daily pain until I was 24. Crazy right?! hangs head Well, I am glad you were able to get through HS - that is rough. I am also really glad you're able to accomplish things at home and make your families lives wonderful as you can. :) It is so important to have help, kindness, support, and love from within your close family and friends (if you have any).

I really really extremely want:I'm guessing most people do that when they lose a beloved pet. How's Coco behaving?
Woohoo!!!
Well ya know I do that pretty regularly! :-P
Hugs you back!! <3
Yeah I'm the exact same.. which is probably why I end up not being around a lot!
Maybe tomorrow!
I guess I need to change my ha tomorrow been feeling lazy and not chsnging it every day lol!!
-fingers crossed-
Happy May Day! I'll have to poke around google and see if I can find that spray for the berries. I guess it's good to know it's not just the neighborhoods I've lived in that have sticky fingers... Hopefully, with the bulbs at least they're the type that naturally spread on their own so the 'original' yard/garden still had some left. Can you imagine going into someone's yard and digging stuff up? I mean the odds of getting caught alone...
I LOVE the layering on your HA with the sweater over the kitty sweater - I hope you won't mind if I 'borrow' that idea at some point ;)
Happy May Day! She's been pretty cranky lately and managed to slip out the door two days in a row (luckily she literally stopped to smell the rose (bushes) so she got caught whew). Yesterday I brought her outside in her little 'cage' because normally she enjoys that but yesterday there were really strong, fairly consistent wind so she hated it. She complained and snarled the entire time because she was being 'petted' but she couldn't figure out by who or what and she HATES being petted 95% of the time lol
How are your dogs?
Thank you, I don't mind if you borrow the idea. Thank you for saying you love the idea. :D <3

I really really extremely want:How's work going?
Yeah I was surprised how long you've worn your current HA. A whole 24 hours huh? ;-) [edit] That's so scary when a indoor cat gets out! LOL @ Coco thinking she was being pet. I shouldn't laugh as I know she had to be abused by her previous humans. :-(
The dogs are both well. I started making them smoothies as the big dog sometimes has a tummy ache. I put fresh ginger in it and that or the yogurt seems to calms his tummy.
I just thought of something for Coco - you've probably already tried it - there's a dog treat for calming dogs and I wonder if there's one for cats? The dog one is made by Pet Naturals and it's called "Calming" It claims to support stress reduction
