Yes the winter has been holding on with quite the tight grip. I thought spring had sprung about a month ago and planted seedling, they all died. :/ lol Lovely winter decided to come back in and drop to around 30-40 degrees (F) at night. I am finally starting to warm up again so I will try planting again this week. ^^ I love spring/summer/fall.

Today I bought to our home new part of dish set. It was cheap (But i promised myself not to spend more money this month xD) small bowl's for chilli con carne or bigos i dont know how they are called in englosh :/

Yeah it looked like spring had arrived around a month ago here too but since than we've had two more blizzards. I was so tempted to plant my first batch of radishes when that 'false' spring arrived because I know that they are suppose to like cold (even frost) but I never quite got around to digging out my gardening tools - good thing, because my little radishes would have wound up under about a foot of snow and even if they could have taken the cold they still need light and there's no light under that much snow lol

I think I'm going to start planting next week barring any unexpected weather lol

What are you planning to grow this year?

Well, I have planted: wax beans, green bush beans, sweet peas, beets, carrots, broccoli, sweet bell peppers, a variety of spicy peppers, tomatoes, boysenberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Frosty weather killed maybe half of everything so I am replanting early next week.

I also have just planted several fruit trees (I just moved here and the yard was barren): Apple (Anna and Granny varieties), naval orange, pink lemonade lemon, pear, apricot, peach, and one non fruit tree I just planted, a dark red crepe tree. ^^

I am new to this area and this soil type though and can see I am going to have my work cut out for me learning the new soil type.

Aside from radishes what are you going to plant?

My derm appointment was amazing! The doctor was right on time and super nice! And the best part is I only had 3 small pre-cancerous spots that he easily froze off and said "come see me in a year" I was so happy I almost cried as I was walking to my car. :-)

That's so tough for you that Coco wants out so badly! Luckily neither of my rescues ever acted too crazy about going out. One of them a little but not too badly. I'm glad your wounds are all healed!

Wow sounds like you must have a big yard to fit so many fruit trees in. We just planted a semi-dwarf Honeycrisp Apple tree last fall. fingers crossed there's another apple tree in the neighborhood other wise we're gonna need to find a place that sells apple blossoms or dwarf crab apple trees because we don't have room for another tree.

We planted strawberries and rhubarb last year - hopefully they made it through the winter okay and will be back this year. We also inherited two blueberry bushes from the previous owners (we just moved last year). Beyond that, carrots, beans, sugar snap peas and catnip for sure. Probably some cherry tomatoes - we did a ton of full size tomatoes last year but they mostly went to waste or didn't turn out well. We tried for squash, pumpkins and melons last year but they didn't work at all and took way too much of our limited space. Lots of native wild flowers, sun flowers and other flowers for the pollinators and birds. Beyond that I'm not really sure. I'd like to add more berries to the mix but we had problems with people stealing them last year and that's just so upsetting/depressing - you put so much care and worry into them and just as it starts to pay someone else comes and just takes it. "SHAME"

I'm looking forward to gardening but not all that bending. lol

I know I already know the answer to this question but I just can't remember right now. Do you have any fur babies right now?

[Item=bacon of wearing] I got it for my Gourmand eating 4000 unique items. I thought it was both weird and cool so I just had to use it. But was not easy to tame aka make it look less bacony. :-)

Tis ok!! :-) I presently have 2 dogs. I lost my dear kitty just this past January. My daughter's kitty passed 2-3 years ago. It's so strange, I still see my kitty...then I realize it's our small dog. He was a special cat and I was 100% his human! =^o^=
