Thanks for letting us know about the Shoutbox. A lot of peple assumed it was because people were complaining too much, it's good to know it wasn't because of that.
Event Actions
Just got a few Application errors while I was auto pricing my shop, the items didn't auto price because of it and now I get the "You've autopriced today, but you can autoprice again for 25 CSC!"
Lag - it's been slow for days now
It just took me an hour to be able to finish a battle quest. Kept throwing application errors.
Same with searching an item in my legacy shop. Still haven't been successful, though.
basically lots of 502s and application errors everywhere
edit: o.k., I'm giving in. I'm on bq 21, but it's already 2 in the morning. The next battle quest won't finish again.
This is just so unfair, to start another event on a still not working site and make us suffer and lose even more.
Another update! Around 7:00, a few things started to get backed up:
- autopricing
- sidebar alerts
- updating online users (which is why the "Users Online" showed a low number, and the Friends Online widget stopped working)
This is because these are all processed within the same system, and it just got overloaded.
These are being addressed now, and will start slowly completing / coming back to normal. So, for example, if you had autopriced in the last hour, you may get an alert that it's finished around now or soon. You might receive some late sidebar notifications as well.
We had a relatively smooth start to the holiday this year; it seems like it can never be exactly perfect, but I'm still striving to address anything that might come up as quickly as possible. <3
