Yea I feel the same way about them. Ah well. I really hope staff goes somewhat of a different way next year and goes with the plethora of "sustainability" ideas the users have offered. I don't care about Gunter being vegan now, that bandaid was ripped like 2 years ago, and it makes sense given his nightmare things and feelings about Oatmeal. But maybe next year Gunter should take a break and go to therapy instead because of all this murder guilt. or Jail. I didn't know how bad I needed a renaissance festival until I saw it mentioned in the comments. I went to one irl once and it was awesome.

Sustainability festival/local farmers market thing/renaissance/anything REALLY new next year... would be preferable. Neugarten has the same problems Alegarten had, where you just buy everything and be done with it. It offers literally nothing new in terms of gameplay, other than drama. And a distinct lack of Bavarian culture which is why I was crazy for it in the first place. I seriously stuck up for Alegarten so much and begged for it not to be taken away and now I just don't have the same passion for it 😔

I'd almost like the peka-boo floating to come back, promote cleaning up the environment and turn it in for prizes or something Idunno. There's just really nothing new with this "neugarten".

I agree. This "holiday" is more depressing and disappointing than anything. No nice new clothes, too much drama, etc. Looking forward to something else coming up soon. Like bug catching. Not even sure why I'm still doing the bird watch since I have all of them already.

Sorry I have not been too chatty lately. Not feeling too good. The meds seem to be making me worse sigh I dread another trip to the doc. 1 1/2 hours of waiting to see the doc for 5 minutes (exactly what happened last time).

Yeah, Alegarten for me was never really super exciting I guess, except for the new foods and plushies or whatever. I do think expanding it into more of a general sustainability event or even a ren fest would be cool though, hopefully they can use some of the ideas mentioned in the feedback thread.

Something to do other than just buying from the shops would be nice. Because yeah, once you've purchased everything then it's really easy to just forget the event is even going on.

quickly drops by. health has been an issue (dealing with a headache at the moment so can't stay long) but I've also been spending a lot of time gardening in RL. I have 2 balconies with potted plants on each of them, 1 community lot (10 square feet garden for myself), and 1 collective garden (share with others tasks & harvest). I'm working on trying to get veggies to eat better, learning how to garden (1st time with my very own garden) and socializing.

Sigh, that's all my eyes can stand for tonight. take care all ❤

At least there will be some minuscule plot / lore addition Sad Gunter :( for anyone who hasn't seen it yet Though I wish there would have been a small "second wave" of items to draw attention back to the shop and have Gunter's sadness more visible in the news post for it. Like I said about alegarten/neugarten problems, I bought everything on the first day and haven't been back. I wouldn't have seen these developments if it wasn't for this thread. Wonder how many other people are like that but haven't seen that topic. I don't doubt there will be a news post for whatever the outcome for this is, but those people are missing out on this subtle change building up to it 😭

I keep hoping peek-a-boo will come back since I didn't buy all the things I wanted the first time, thinking it would come back. Stupid me.

I also wish the peka-boo items would come back in some way, they're getting rare. I also wish the councilors cruise of 2012 items would come back. I barely have anything from that short event since I was a year old newbie account at the time.

I have a repeated "demand" for old items as I make new pets and realize that I want something from these old events for treasure items. It's impossible to buy everything the first time and predict how many extras you'll ever need. That's why they really need to bring stuff back more often 😞

Bad heat wave here and next week will be worse :S Wasn't able to do anything for Canada day other than try to keep Gismo & me cool. I did go to my garden but ouff even early morning it was tough. I hate summer, I really do.

I agree. We're having an unseasonably hot summer with drought and super high fire risk. I hate summer too. Can't wait for Fall.

I would definitely like to see the Peka-boo items come back at some point too. I think I got all of the collection items and foods and stuff like that, but I wasn't really collecting wearables back then so I missed out on a lot of the clothes.

And I completely forgot about the Councilors Cruise event, but that was a fun little thing too. It would be cool to see those items come back as well, if they're getting expensive.

Years ago when I was doing my Bac, I was a tour guide for the university. A Texas father and son came one time during hot weather. They explained they weren't used to our kind of hot since it's really humid and there's airconditioning in most places they go.

I never liked summer, hated when we got summer vacation, what to do with myself? I can't stand the heat, makes me physically feel ill, I burn in the sun (don't tan), etc. If I had a mother nature remote control I'd say fast forward to fall, my fav season ^^
