We are gearing up for our 4th Noreaster here in Massachusetts. I am so flippin done with snow. The trees have barely recovered from the last 2 and my kids have no more snow days.

It's been alternating here between warm spring like weather and freezing cold. Right now it's cold in the mornings and evenings but warm during the day. I just wish it would make up it's mind. I hope we get some spring weather. Last year it went right from winter to summer with only about 2 weeks of nice spring weather. I hate the heat but it would be nice to open the windows and get some fresh air. Maybe I'll have a last fire in the fireplace this weekend.

If it is your shoes that caused that problem you need to make sure you get more comfortable shoes. Bad shoes cause foot problems which causes a whole host of other things including back problems. If your toenails get bound up by tight shoes they can become ingrown and become a pincer toenail (if you don't know google at your own risk, it's very awful looking). I'm also having toenail issues right now, coincidentally and had to go to the doctor for it.

Anxious to see the new steam shop wearables. I hope they have some pretty dresses and hair. Like with the candy hearts, etc, I have trinkets saved in my vault from last year so I can buy any of the new items I want right away. But I'm sure I'll need LOTS of dances. Want steam trinkets, not lounge as I don't need any of the food.

agh yowch D:, It's a big if. I'm ruling out the shoes because if it were, my first metatarsophalangeal joints would've hurt, that section is wider than my toes. When trying on shoes it's usually not wide enough instead of too short for the toes. I can't buy the ones with obvious lozenge-shaped soles. Or the especially thin-long ones where there's a huge curve in the middle that's unpresent/ doesn't touch the floor. Those feet can wear any shoe.

I'd still open the windows every few hours to ventilate the air even during the snow. Heating and stuffiness indoors is an incubator for sick germs. My lips, nose and face skin have been dry since Sunday no matter how much water and healthy juice I've had.

It hasn't even started snowing where I am yet, I hope it's not too bad & that my kids have school tomorrow.

I do open the windows on the weekends and the back door for a little bit some times (my back porch is screened in so my cats can go out and get fresh air when the weather is nice). But my house doesn't get hot because I can't afford to run the heat except for a few minutes in the morning to take the chill off.

I have very wide feet also and it's hard to find shoes that fit comfortably. Any shoe that is wide enough is usually too long and I get blisters on the backs of my heels. Because of this I've been wearing big slippers or flip flops for the majority of time. I don't know what a good solution is except an open plea to shoemakers that some people have wide feet xD

I have the opposite problem with shoes. I wear womens size 5 but stores like Walmart only carry shoes down to size 6 so I usually have to shop in the kids section since I wear kids size 2 or 3. But then again, some of the kids shoes are a lot cuter. :D I'm guessing Masq will probably start tomorrow most likely while I'm at work so I will miss the beginning. That's usually how these seem to happen. At least I was able to get that pretty new mask in the token shop.

sorry poofed but been not feeling well & dealing with RL. My neighbour winded up having her over the next day as well. It was an awkward situation since she kept telling him she'd leave and then would stay longer. He would tell me to "ignore her" and she would embarrassingly hide from me. When we had to go to the bedroom, no matter how many warnings we gave her she stayed in bed... threw the covers on herself and when I needed to place things on the bed I asked the neighbour what to do and he told me to put it on the bed, she dashed out and plopped herself on the living room couch. I didn't do anything to her and I'm not in the habit of pretending people are invisible... I even acknowledge pets. There's a basic decency people should behave by. I don't care she slept with him... his choice of ladies does not concern me; however, being civilized with a person to a basic degree is important. Yeah, I could have left but I needed his help cleaning my aquarium & taking out a complete litter change for Gismo. Plus, I felt morally obligated to at least put up the kitchen curtain since we had taken the old one down.

It's unfortunate in your case that people were awkward with you when you visited. No matter what skin colour, beliefs, preferences, etc you're still a human and should be treated with common respect... and people should not need alcohol to boost their courage to interact with you goodness gracious If you really care about the person than just ignore the uncivilized family members; however, it's unfortunate they have such issues. hug

I told my neighbour several times of my discontent. We're supposed to spend time continuing to decorate in two weeks and I told him point blank to not have her over... hopefully, he'll listen.

I'm jealous of you xD I'd love to wear cute kids shoes but alas I have boat sized feet... women's Size 10... Wide. Either I find shoes that are wide enough but too long, or shoes that are the right length but not wide enough.

Normally I like to wear Converses, but I could probably do with looking at more comfortable shoes. They're cool looking but not much in the way of cushion.
