I just checked the old news, it does start tonight. I'm wondering if people are struggling behind the scenes with RL and that's why the holidays are a bit behind. It's been quite a year for everyone.

Information regarding Black Friday: Black Friday will start on Monday, November 23 and end at 11:59pm on Monday, November 30. We don’t have an exact start time on the 23, but the Cash Shop will be closed while we add items. Edit: Well I guess it is tomorrow instead :) I can't wait to see what items will be in there!

Yeah to me Fireside is more of a Thanksgiving holiday and should be over before Lumi. Glad it helped a little bit at least.
I had one that was really good, but still not the best. It seems the only time our stores have any kind of real massager is around Christmas time for some odd reason. I love the ones at the mall! They massage your whole body. Including your legs. Although it takes a minute or two for me to get used to that. It kinda feels like my legs are in a vise at first, but then I relax and it feels good. I don't blame him. I don't want to get out a good massage chair either lol.
You would think! It just doesn't seem to be the case here. Did you fill out one of those change of address forms? Maybe it took a few days to get into the system or whatever? Getting the mail sent to the right place is such a pain! I know! It should not be that hard.
No fun at all! I hope you get it all sorted out soon hugs. No clue, but it is annoying. I guess they must be the cheapest workers lmao! Oh that is nice. We have the typical kitchen dining area. Basically the main part of our apartment (besides the bedroom and bathroom) is one big room and the small kitchen area is separated from the living room by a half wall.
Things are just opening/closing on the regular now. It is very hard to keep up with these days. Oh no :( I guess I wont be buying any of that online (if I get a printer).
It is amazing how much dust a pop figure can collect! It is going to take me quite a while to save up for one of those, but it would be worth it!

My BIL has his own roofing business. Too bad you guys live so far away. fingers crossed for you! Kinda shocked about the water bill situation. You would think that they would be all about getting their money!

Our living room is tiny, so the tv is close to the tv. The only place to put the couch (because of the half wall) is pretty much in the middle of the room. This leaves enough space to walk behind it when going in and out the door and a little room between the tv and the couch. My comp desk is on one side of the tv and Emily's is on the other. That way I can sit here and watch tv.
Our Gov made it a state wide thing from the beginning. She really loves to clamp down on us for everything!
Plus it was great for me since I am not a morning person at all lol.
I loved the cooking class. It was a great way to spend a couple of nights a week. Yeah it really was weird. I think about her every once in a while and wonder if anyone ever found out what happened.
They never worked for me. I wish they did! :( It was really strong for the first couple of days. Now I have either gotten used to it or the smell is gone. This one has a little cooling mask that I can freeze or toss in the fridge, I tried it frozen and it actually made my head hurt. Way too cold for me!
I do that all the time!!! I mean he is a spork so it makes sense. Really popular items are so expensive! Emily wants a lot of anime plushie and stuff like that. I just hate spending that much on a plushie. We also don't have a lot of room here. My apartment already looks like a toys r us! A gift card is deff the easiest and less stressful way to go!

I hate it when something is going so slow that I zone out and then suddenly it just zips right by me at lightning speed lol. I loved the original. I miss some of the old games.
For the huge price they deff don't have enough space! The storage things should at least be a lot cheaper since we already paid a small fortune for the dang system. Such a cash grab! I dread to see how much a storage thing will cost for the PS5. I can't believe it will have such little storage space. It really doesn't seem like it is worth the price. Glad they got the tv they wanted :) Yeah a lot of people are doing that clicklist, but I like to see what I am buying for myself. I like to inspect everything!
Ugh that would not shock me at all. His parents should pay to have it repaired and then make him pay them back. There is no reason why you should have to wait for your own property to be returned to you.

Anybody figured out how to get the new Blake yet? I thought Peka Glade because of how he looks but guess not. Nevermind, found him. Took some refreshing though. So black friday starts later today. They don't usually have anything new, just bringing back old stuff. So I probably won't be buying much unless there's something I want to stash in my vault to sell later. Hope everybody gets what they want.

Don't forget there are a few Fireside-themed battle challengers in the event tab, they were brought back without a major announcement so just wanted to remind people. No new loot this year, but you can get some EXP for your pets and stuff.

Yeah I had to look at the spoilers in the news comments lol. I think they opened up the island to everyone, but not 100% sure. I don't think I saw anyone complaining about it in the news comments.
Sure, I didn't think it would be fair to have him in a place that not everybody can get to. Trying to decide if I want to buy anything in the black friday sale. Can't think of anything I actually need so would just buy a few things to sell later. Used to buy whichever trunks were selling for the highest price to stash in my vault. But I don't see any way to add any of the trunks to my cart, they're all just buy it directly. Would rather put them in my cart and then decide which ones to confirm purchase.

Yeah that would not be fair at all. I mostly want the books and food. I got the food, and now I just need to work on getting the books. I haven't really looked at any new clothing items yet. I totally forgot about the trunks. I am pretty sure I have all of those that I wanted.
So far yes. I'm working towards the new Charity tier. :) I have about 1/2 of the fireside items for this year too.
Black Friday Sale has started! I have no idea where to start. I may get some Boutique sets, but I need to go through and make some decisions first.

Can't really find anything in the black friday sale I need as I usually buy stuff when it comes out. Only things I see that I want are in the reward shop but don't have enough points to get them all. However I don't think they leave the shop so guess they can wait. Hope everybody is getting lots of stuff they want. :)

Yeah thankfully we have plenty of time to get the items from the reward shop! I don't have a whole lot of csc, and I really don't want to buy any more. The holidays are just around the corner (I am not ready!!!) and I still have all my presents to buy!

No worries! I've lost track of time chucking items at Charity and trying to find more food.
Yeah, Fireside has always seemed to align more with Thanksgiving, especially when Fantine and Charity got involved with the holiday. My heel is still a little sore, but mostly only if I'm on my feet for a long time, it's no longer painful when I wake up in the morning.
I guess stores figure people will be willing to spend more money during Christmas, so that's the time to bring out the expensive stuff. Every time I was at the mall, the massager chairs are always filled, now they're cordoned off. Some of those full-body massager chairs do look like a tight fit. I'll have to try one of the chairs sometime, might make shopping a little bit more enjoyable.
We had filled out the change of address form online because our local post office doesn't carry the physical form. The second time we filled it out, the website was extremely picky about our billing address matching what was registered with our card. It rejected the form twice because the billing address didn't match for either of our cards when the address did in fact match. So we had to wait a few days before we tried submitting the form again. The fun part now is waiting to get mail that I can use to update my driver's license.
hugs I think Chris and I are going to work on getting boxes out of the garage tomorrow or Friday after he finishes setting the rest of the fence posts. My mom came over yesterday to clear our space in the garage for a vehicle. She didn't ask, just said she was coming over because bad weather was moving in and Chris should be able to park in the garage. So now, boxes have been shifted around and I don't know where anything is anymore. When I lived in an apartment, they hired a new guy and he was always the one sent to my apartment to fix things. I'd open the door and he'd just get a huge smile. The guy was my age, so that made it a little less creepy but it was still weird. That seems to be pretty standard with apartments, but mine didn't even have a half wall dividing the rooms, just an island/table so you got to sit half on carpet and half on linoleum.
My parents ruined a fairly fancy printer with cheap refilled ink. I have to regularly deep clean my printer because the cheap ink will 'clot' and then it won't print. It sucks because the refilled cartridges are a great price and I've seen reviews that they work great, but the ones I have don't.
Oh, I know! I question if it's worth it to dust because sometimes the things start to get covered again right after they've been wiped down! I need to check and see if my grandmother's Kirby still works. I don't know when it was last used (she's been gone for 4 years and her house has been empty for 6 years) or if the mice have bothered it. I would have to save up for a few years to buy a new one, but then I think Chris would question why we're spending that much on a vacuum.
I'm sure the bathroom looked nice too. I just need to figure out what color to paint it and if I want to remove the weird wall partition between the sink and toilet. I'm kinda thinking about leaving just enough to hang a towel on on the sink side.
It has to be really handy to have someone who does roofing in the family, I'd probably be asking them questions any time there was a roof issue. We got the cracks sealed hours before it started raining, and it rained all day yesterday. So far, the ceiling is still dry, so I think we managed to fix the leaks. We finally got the water bill today, so now I know that it comes at the end of the month and I don't have to worry about reading the water meter. Would have reduced a lot of stress if the city guy had mentioned when the bills are mailed out when we filled out paperwork...
Yes, that is one good thing about winter! The flies and mosquitos are gone until there's a warm spell and they wake back up super confused. I've dealt with two confused flies this week.
I don't mind having the couch close to the tv, makes it easier to read things on the screen while playing video games (the fonts are so small!)., but it does make less space for a coffee table or ottoman. It's been a long time since I've watched tv while on the computer, now that only happens if I'm on my laptop. We need to rearrange the furniture in the living room. The recliner needs to move north a bit because it's in the path to the front door. We also want to put in a small bench by the coat closet to sit on while putting on/taking off shoes, but there's a cabinet there and we don't know where that's going to go.
Our gov. made it a state-wide thing back in May, I think, but each county had the choice to opt out of her mask mandate. She's gone a little crazy with power as well and felt it was necessary to let everyone know that she wasn't going to hair salons, her husband was cutting her hair. eye-roll
I'm not a morning person either, I hit snooze way too much. I took one early morning class (7:30 a.m.) in college and decided never again, especially in winter. A final at 7:30 a.m., I can handle but not a class. But then again, I wasn't a fan of going on to campus at night because it wasn't very well lit.
I would have loved to take a cooking class in high school! I had a Home Ec class but we only did a week of cooking. I think we made scrambled eggs and bacon, and maybe muffins. I hope she didn't get kidnapped o.O or worse. Maybe she decided to spice up life and move, but then she would have left her daytime teaching job too. I wonder if googling her name would bring anything up?
😢 Sometimes the strips don't want to stick to my nose and it's always on a night when I need them to stick. You may have gotten used to the smell. I've got two heatable neck pads that smell of lavender. I've had them for years and the smell is still fairly strong. Ooh, yeah, that'd be like a permanent brain freeze. I could see using the mask frozen to reduce the pain of a migraine, but I wouldn't be able to wear it for long either.
Sporky was the first name to pop in my head and I just like 'yeah that sounds right', then 'wait, is that his name?' I've only watched the movie once and I remembered that he is a spork. I guess Forky is just a cuter name. Star Wars collectibles seem to have gone up in price too since Baby Yoda/the child is so popular. It seems like most anime stuff is expensive. There was someone selling a whole anime series on Facebook and they wanted over $100 for it. I'm going to have a really hard time figuring out where to put my plushies, I have a few storage totes full. Gift cards are the easiest gift and that's what we ask for too, but we aren't allowed to ask for them this year.

I hate that too. I also hate when I get too complacent during a race in Mario Kart, that's when I mess up and go from first to last. I miss the original Mario games and Duck Hunt. I have the games, I just haven't plugged my system in in years. Older games were just simpler and didn't require multiple button combos to do stuff.
They really don't and they aren't listing the storage space on the system specs, you have to google it! So they have to know that would give them lower sales. They allotted a certain amount of storage space for system updates so that they know everyone will have room for them...well release the system with more space. I've watched a couple of reviews about the PS5 and the new Xbox and they both mentioned storage expansion. For the PS5, you can expand storage with an NVMe SSD or an M.2 SSD (used in PCs), but you can't expand the storage until Sony has pushed an update that allows the system to accept expanded storage 😠 With the Xbox Series X/S, you can expand the storage with a Seagate Expansion Card that costs $220 for 1 TB of space. Oh and I don't think either will be compatible with external hard drives. Both companies have released systems in the past that have 1TB of storage, so I don't know why they are taking such a huge step backwards.
It took an hour at Walmart, but they got the tv. Then it took over an hour to get it set up at their house. Clicklist is great...if you don't mind getting banged up/dented/smooshed products. I've watched the employees that fulfill the clicklist orders, most just grab the first thing off the shelf. I have to inspect what I buy too! Never know when a bag or box will be popped open.
I may have Chris ask his parents how the book repair is going and then he can be the one to suggest that they pay for the repair and the kid pays them back. It's been three months already since the book got ruined and if it's just been sitting around at their house, who knows how many pages could be missing.
I made Chris stay home from work because he got a fever from the infection. And all the dentist did was give him another prescription for penicillin. eye-roll Typically when a client says they have brownish-yellow drainage, that's a clue that something isn't right.
Reminds me, I've got mashed potatoes to throw out and some fudge. Got to make room for tomorrow's leftovers!
Still haven't given the cats a bath sigh By the time we get home from feeding the dogs after work, it's almost 8 and we go to bed at 9:30. The cats love sleeping on the bed or the couch, so we can't really have them plopping down while still wet. We just need to pick a day to give them bathes and make sure we actually give them bathes.

And yet another TS RS while I was at work. It always seems to stock when I'm working or asleep. Darn.
