They are due the first week or two of the month, but I am paying for the next month most of the time. I will pay for Feb at the end of Jan. I hate that one!!!! I didn't see any reason to kill off an owl. GoT is coming back soon :D so excited and nervous at the same time lol. I can understand that. Not that I know of. We love the art book and the cute pin. Did you get the poster? Love that too :D I might put it up in the living room by Emily's comp. Oh that is a cute idea! Glad to hear you are feeling better :) That would be nice! It seems like we have to go back and forth between awful lag and things being broken!

Ah. All the bills I'll pay in Feb. will either be for that month or what I used in January. I didn't either, but I read a fan theory that Snape was the death eater that killed Hedwig in order to keep Harry safe and prevent him from sticking out among the other's disguised as Harry. And Rowling said the death of Hedwig signified the end of his childhood. I haven't watched Game of Thrones. I have the first book but haven't read much of it yet. I'm not looking forward to my birthday dinner with the in-laws. By that point, I might know when Chris is coming back home and I'm sure his parents will constantly ask if I know when he's coming home....and his mother will probably tell me that she's still praying for me. I've decided I'm not going to tell them and the only what they will know when he's coming home is if his flight lands in the big city 4 hours away from me. I follow a few kitten fosterers on Instagram, but they are either on the east or west coast, so I didn't know if there were any in the surrounding area. I got the poster as well, but I'm not sure where I'm going to hang it up. If the living walls weren't covered in wallpaper, I'd have an easier time hanging things because I'd use command hooks. I still have a banner to hang up that I'm using to display pins. It is, I'll have to play around in the wardrobe today to see if I can make it work. Might have to remove the cat, but maybe it will fit work with the cat. I'm glad I am too, it would just be nice if I knew what caused the latest reaction. I ate nachos at the game, but I hadn't been overexposed to corn prior that. Yeah, it would be nice to have things running smoothly for Survival. The forum issue is still present because I got a ping 20+ minutes ago and the post is MIA. So this post might take a while to show up too.

I don't like the idea of Snape killing her, and her death signifying the end of his childhood is dumb to me. Growing up ended his childhood lol. No need to kill off the owl. I love watching GoT, but it is the only show I stress watch. I am always waiting to see who is going to die! When is the dinner? I hope you hear something soon hugs. I probably wouldn't tell them either. I have never heard of anyone around here. Thankfully we don't have any wallpaper to deal with. I bet it is so dated :( does anyone really even use wallpaper anymore? I would paint and then use some stencils if I want it "decorated". Cute HA :D Mmmm nachos! I need to make some soon. We love having them, but I always end up overdoing it cause they are sooooo good! Sorry I got distracted by food lol. Would there be enough corn in nachos to bother you? Yes! I have gotten a few event notices about posts and I just refreshed until I gave up and waited for it to show up on its own.

I wasn't happy that Hedwig died. She was Harry's link to the wizarding world while he was with the Dursley's and then she became his link to Sirius. She easily could have been released prior to the 7 Harry's leaving Little Whinging and could have flown to the Burrow. Harry didn't really have a childhood. He was either mistreated by the Dursley's or dealing with Voldemort every year. J.K. Rowling has also said in an interview that she regrets pairing Ron and Hermione. My brother-in-law enjoys the show and I think Chris has started watching it during his downtime. The dinner is March 18, the day after my birthday. I've told them where I want to eat, so it would be nice if they could let me know the time to meet them there. I'd hate to receive a last-minute text that says 'we're here' while I'm sitting at home. Darn, I hope you can find a kitten sometime soon. Mine is currently whining because I was gone all day. It's dated by about 30+ years. 😢 There are some rooms that don't have wallpaper, but I still won't use command strips on those walls because I think the strips would take the paint off with it. Wallpaper is a pain to deal with too. The kitchen in the house I grew up in has about 4 layers of wallpaper. Some of them are really neat, but you can tell it was easier to just put new paper over the old. Thanks. :) It kind of looks like the cat is staring at the mouse either wondering what it's doing or questioning if it could get away with eating it. I only eat nachos at basketball games and it's always a gamble on if the chips are going to be stale. They might, but I've eaten Doritos without any problem. The only other thing I can think of is if on Tuesday I managed to breath in some corn dust while helping with chores. I spent about 5 minutes refreshing then I gave up and checked back half an hour later. But it seems like they've fixed the issue now.

There are so many things she could have done differently sigh i love happy endings. I like Ron and Hermione together, Not sure why she would hate it. Game of Thrones is a really great show, but it is hard for me to watch because I hate seeing faves get killed off. Especially in such gross ways. I can't believe it is the last season. Well that would be really dumb if they do that. It will be their fault if they end up sitting around the restaraunt waiting for you, Me too :( I wish we had a house so we could get a dog. Maybe even two dogs. Yikes I would hate to deal with that. The guy who did all the painting here did a horrible job (I have a brown bedroom with white primer spots) but at least it is better than wallpaper. That is what I was thinking lmao! Mouse looks yummy I guess! Emily loves using doritos for her nachos. Especially the ranch kind. You should see how much a really good mask costs. fingers crossed It is worked out now!

Thanks :) I've been overwhelmed since I heard the news. Lots of documents had to be completed, contacting many people, etc. I also developed an intense case of Acne Rosacea... feels like my face heated up from inside and a huge amount of acne emerged. It's like a bad sunburn but with acne as well. Turns out I fit most of the characteristics that make one susceptible. I've always had a pinkish face but nothing like this! I have a cream the doctor prescribed but it doesn't reduce the burning sensation so I'm using home remedies to help as well. I injured my knee about 3 weeks ago going to the food bank, turns out I'm going to have to wait another 3 weeks before doing my regular activities :( I'm keeping myself busy reclaiming my office space that has been used as a storage area so that when I move I have a functioning office. If all goes well, I'll move at the end of May... 4 months but it'll go by fast.

There are, but she can't exactly change anything now unless she were to rewrite the books. I think a lot of the additional information gets put on Pottermore, but I haven't really been on that site since they massively changed it. I liked Ron and Hermione together too. I think Rowling said they have a toxic relationship and they aren't good for each other. If anything, Ron helps Hermione laugh and relax. If it was on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime I would watch it, but I don't think it's available to watch on any of those platforms without paying for an additional subscription. It would be, but it wouldn't surprise me if that happens since they've done something similar before. MIL planned a surprise birthday party for her dad but never told me the time. She told me where it was taking place on the day of the party. I wish I had my own house so that I could make whatever changes I wanted to and not have to worry about getting in trouble for bringing a dog inside. The next dog Chris and I get will be an Australian Sheperd and it will be my dog. It's terrible. There are a few spots in the living room where the wallpaper seams are starting to separate. My bedroom is a tannish brown color painted onto fake wood paneling. It's ugly. The mouse looks yummy and is unaware of the dangerous company it is traveling with lol. I got the collection item with the mice on the wall. I need to figure out how to work in into this HA or one like it. I love the nacho and the spicy nacho Doritos. I need to find a recipe to make my own chip dip. I had been buying some from the store, but the brand I buy puts onions in every dip. A good mask costs over $60, which is out of my price range for now. The only issue I've had today has been item hovers taking a while to load and some item images being broken.

What are you using to reduce the burning sensation? My allergic reactions sometimes make my face swell and burn and Benadryl only helps with the swelling, itching, and hives. Knees injuries aren't fun. 😢 I injured my left knee when I was in 8th grade and it took me 5 years to finally figure out what I did (injured a growth cavity below my knee cap). Then I reinjured that knee by getting bucked off a horse, then a few years later kicked by a cow. I need to work on getting my house cleaned up so it looks presentable when Chris comes home. I've got a couple months to work on it, but I might as well just say I have 2 months to get it done so I can't put it off. But I also have 380 five-pointed stars to sew then applique for a quilt my mom is making for Chris.

There are various options you can use... -aloe vera gel -moisturizing cream -various combos for face masks: oatmeal, green tea (matcha is stronger/better but more expensive), honey, yogurt, asparagus, few drops of essential oils like lavender, chamomile, or geranium (less since this one is stronger) -basic oil that will help hydrate skin but not over oil it (helps reduce acne as well)... grape seed oil sinks in fast, other oils can be experimented with like avocado. Add a few drops of essential oils mentioned above. -you can try coconut oil but it is thicker and can leave an oily feeling.

The key is frequency. Right now I'm cleaning my face, moisturizing every few hours and alternating with aloe vera. I do a soothing facial mask 1/day since it's messy. In the night I clean, moisturize then apply the prescribed cream.

My face has gone from beet red to a milder pink, the acne has reduced, the skin has flaked badly but I keep moisturizing so it doesn't feel as dry. I've improved a lot since a few days ago. If I would have just done the prescribed cream I'd still be in a lot of pain instead of mild pain/irritation.

RICE: Rest, Ice (10-20 min), Compress, Elevate. It helps.

At least you are closer to getting your new home. I hope you feel better soon.

Personally I think she just needs to concentrate on fantastic beasts and stop coming up with more details about HP. I agree with you about ron and hermione. I think they are good together, You can probably find it free online somewhere. That is how I usually watch it. Well if they do something like that then all they can do is just sit and wait on you to get there :) I miss having our own home. It is nice to be in control of you own environment and make it over the way you want it! I am sure the landlord isn't any hurry to make it look better right? You would think they would be ashamed to rent out something that dated :( Lmao! I like the item, but I have no clue how to use it. For some reason it makes me think of The Tale of Despereaux. We are not big on spicey at all :( just the nacho cheese and ranch flavors. Dang that is pricey, but it would be worth it if it kept you having another reaction, Yeah things are a little better now knocks on wood

Having to stay in for the next 3 weeks is forcing me to spend more time on the apartment... I'm aiming to be mostly packed about a month ahead so that I have time to get help if it's not done.

I hate packing, but at least after it is over you will have a better home to live in. It will be worth it to get away from your current landlords.

I just hope this time is the last time in a really long time. I want to grow old there with grace and peace of mind. I'm tired of fighting landlords and spending my time at lawyers, court, etc. I just want to have a functioning apartment whereby I can enjoy myself and be creative... paint, make lampshades, create soaps, etc. I want to have RL friends, do activities with them, feel part of a community, enjoy where I live and the surrounding area. Of course, I also want Gismo to be happy and be with me for many years without having to sacrifice our comfort... right now I have to lower the heat to make sure I can afford hydro so I can save money for the move. So much work but I feel it's the right step... a move to end moves :)

Right now I'm doing the prep work so that when I move it'll be easier to function. In my last apartment, I winded up having a problem of too much stuff... 1st time I completely moved out from my parents. In the past, I would go to university have fully furnished apartments and stuff accumulated at my parents. My father told me I had things in the basement... well he also gave me things he no longer needed and I winded up with a living room full of stuff the night before. I had a person specialized in organizing/hoarding that I saw for 2 years to help me reduce. My 1st year I couldn't use the living room because it was used as a storage area. I was in a 4 1/2 (Quebec term for 2 bedroom apart). I had reduced considerably but the one room we were unable to tackle was the office. The problem carried over to my current place. I now have a 3 1/2 (1 bedroom) and with all the issues I had to overcome the office was put aside. Due to having to rest my knee, I'm stuck in the apartment more... so I have more spare time to work on my office. I've already made a floor plan based on a floor plan I was shown in the interview. I know which cabinets I want in the office and I'll try to make the most use out of them. I've also started gardening and need to find a place to put all my stuff, plus knitting... it'll get done but one thing at a time. If I can organize most things here, it'll be easier to move and then put everything in its place after. I've already thrown out and put for shredding a good amount of documents. I can sit on my office chair and I've made space on the desk :) Slowly but surely I'll get there :D

Doing a little at a time is always better then trying to do it all at once. The last time we had to move, we had to do it quickly because our landlord lost the building so we all had to move out. We didn't have a car or anything. Luckily we found a place that was 2 blocks over so we basically carried all the boxes there and used a little wagon to help with some of it. We had to leave a lot behind that we could not carry. Planning things out is deff a lot better.

Yes, since the release of the first movie people are more interested in the wizarding world in the States during the 20s and prior. Personally, I'd enjoy a book that went into more detail about how Ilvermorny was started. I've read some basic info on Pottermore, but a fully fleshed out story would be better. I still haven't watched the second Fantastic Beasts. I'll have to buy it once it comes out on Blu-Ray. Hermione starts off as this very smart kid, who lets everyone know how smart she is and her main focus is schoolwork. But Ron is more laidback, so I think that sort of started rubbing off on Hermione. By about the 4th book, there are hints that they like each other and by their 6th year, it's obvious Hermione really likes Ron, so there was some thought put into their relationship. I need to look. The one website I used to stream shows and movies for free doesn't exist anymore but there was one other website I found that will probably have Game of Thrones. Exactly, that's about all they can do besides getting upset with themselves for not informing me of the time to meet. Worst case scenario would be me saying 'sorry, can't make it now' or something along those lines. It will be so nice to have a place of my own. Putting up pictures and posters only work for a while to make the house look a certain way I want. However, having lived in so many different places, I have a much better idea of how I don't want things to be in my future home. They aren't in any hurry to make it look better 😢 They did renovations over 30 years ago, and I think some rooms just got the short end of the stick in terms of budget. They moved out and straight into their house in town that they were currently working on renovating, so I don't think they are as concerned with this house now that they are somewhere nicer. However, if we want to make any changes we have to run it by them. Chris installed LED lights in the kitchen which they okayed, but then he added some more light fixtures in the cellar and they weren't happy that he hadn't run it by them first. It kind of reminds me of Redwall, as if the mice took over a human castle and are trying to defend a larger space. I'm not a big fan of spicy either, but the spicy nachos aren't too bad. Every now and then I come across a really spicy chip, but they aren't as bad as I thought they would be. I only tried them because I thought I had grabbed a bag of regular nacho cheese chips, then found out later I had grabbed the wrong bag. I did manage to find a different mask today at Harbor Freight, for $20 (after I used a 20% off coupon). It's made from neoprene material and seems like it should lay against my face better than the disposable masks. The disposable mask I've been using needs to be tossed anyway because it's starting to smell. It was a little annoying while questing and pricing my shop, but I managed. Hopefully, things are running smoothly today.

I'll have to keep these on a list somewhere, in case I have another allergic reaction with severe hives. I've got a jar of coconut oil that I've used whenever my hands get really dry and it does leave me looking really oily/greasy. The worst case of hives and rash I had was with my first allergic reaction to corn dust/corn cob pieces and whatever else was on the corn. The worst of the hives and rash lasted for 3 hours, spreading on my face, chest, and back before it finally cleared up. Chris was surprised that the ER nurses didn't apply Benadryl cream, but I don't think it would have been as effective since the rash was spreading.

Years ago I was given 10 days to leave a place due to it being condemned as "unsafe"... the safety exits were not up to standard anymore yet we lived there 2 years without issues. I got a place a few blocks away and got help from 2 of my uncles and an acquaintance. I had a huge assignment due at the same time so I had to get an extension... on the extension I already had. My last move was planned but became a disaster including the movers forgetting to pack one of my closets, them not taking the keys for the new apart so they waited 2 hrs while I had to get there and charged me for the time, not doing as I told them which caused more problems, etc. I winded up in a ball crying. This time I have an "educator" for autistics that will help with the move and if all goes well she'll be there moving day.

edit: we were writing at the same time. If a rash is spreading, wash with cool water. You would have needed to take a shower to help remove particles that were irritating and reduce the spread. Then put aloe vera gel to calm down the burning, eventually using other remedies listed above. Today I didn't have to moisturize as much, the acne is still intense but I'm much less dry and red... pinky now.

With the first allergic reaction, people noticed the rash on my face but didn't tell me. So by the time I got home, I had a few itchy spots on my face but thought nothing of it. It wasn't until my back was burning, that I checked it out and found the rash and hives. After I got home from the 3 hour ER stay at 3:30 in the morning, I took a shower to wash off all the corn dust particles. The second allergic reaction had me stumped because I had showered as soon as I got home and had washed my face, yet I still had a rash and hives develop on my face from the corn dust hours after the shower. So far, my additional allergic reactions I've had have only been mucus buildup and hives. I'm glad that it's starting to get better. Hopefully, the acne starts to regress as well.

An allergic reaction can continue to develop in your system once you're exposed but in the case of particles, it can reduce being exposed to more and exacerbating the prob. I have other tricks for acne... 1st deal with the burning, then deal with the acne.

Well, I've figured out that I can't work at co-op during corn harvest because I have no way to prevent the corn particles from getting on my face no matter how careful I am. The mucus buildup and cough were due to me being exposed to corn dust for about 4 days without knowing it (protein cubes my dad bought to feed to cattle). Then after I figured it out, I had to cut out foods that had corn in them (in any form), until everything had cleared up. Now I'm taking a daily allergy pill and wearing a face mask while I help with chores while also keeping an eye on how much corn I consume in a day.
