that's a particularly striking outfit today - that looks incredible with the lightning bolt eyes as well :D A kitsune character would be a great idea! :D laughs I was stuck for ideas, so I just clicked randomly until I found something I thought I could work with :P
Awww that stinks :( I'm sure it's because you want it to be as good as possible to sell, that flaws creep in (certainly for me, the projects I need to be as good as possible, tend to be the ones with flaws and mistakes 😊). At least you can still use it for a gift though squishes

thank you :D had fun making it :D -nods- I kinda thought so too hey it worked i see Nimah is having a nice lakeside outing. cute. and gimme the ice cream haha. Yeah it's really disappointing :(. If it wasn't for the stain from too much iron, I could just remove the pocket but its not an option.
it looks like you enjoyed yourself ;) hehe I thought she needed something in her hand, and she couldn't find an oar for the boat :P Awww, I didn't realise the stain was from the iron - would washing it help get the stain off? (I know I've got water stains on pillowcases from ironing them with too much water / steam before)

Sounds like a good idea. :D I have already checked out most museums in my city I believe. :) It can be fun to play tourist in your own town. :)
Seems like it. o-o my flat heats up like an oven. :P

nods sometimes you spot things that you realise you've walked past for years without ever noticing!

hehe I'm not sure how to get scorch marks out--the pocket is hiding it. Oh well. I'll just give it to sis-inlaw. I'm ready to have summer end haha
ah, I thought it was going to be water marks from ironing, rather than scorch marks.... I think hiding it with the pocket is the best option to be honest! I love the outfit today, is Paul on holiday?

It was some very very thin unknown fabric that I actually used double amount in the lining and ironed on interfacing. Everything looked great till I noticed the spot and was like oooh hide with a pocket HAHA. lol thank you. He's actually in a dress -giggles- doing a tea party with his 4 yr twin girls :D Niamh looks adorbs today with her lolly :) hehe I see the bg is back ^.^ so glad you like it.
ah, those unknown fabrics can be a pain in the rear when it comes to interfacing :K I've got that laminated cotton fabric I want to make a bag from, but I think I'll get some sew-in interfacing for that, as I have a feeling the coating might melt with the iron.... ROFL I did wonder what he was wearing - he doesn't look all that impressed though :P Thanks :D I got the lolly dress yesterday, and it seemed a perfect match for the background :D

yeah :/ I thought i could get away with it but I guess not. I didn't have sew in and was hoping to just go with what I had >.<
hehe. He's a good sport but yeah he'd rather not be in a dress HAHA. It sure does :D
Its always fun to spot something new in a place you been countless times before. :D
Me too.. I love fall temps and the pretty colours. <3

I've managed to turn interfacing brown before, by using the iron on too hot a setting.... thankfully it was only used to stiffen the fabric behind where the eye was going to be set on a toy, so I could get away with it (it didn't show through the main fabric), but it's surprisingly easy to scorch it, especially when you aren't sure of the setting you need (or if your iron just tends to be hotter than it should be o.O)
laughs well, he probably won't like me saying it, but the dress does seem to suit him ;)
nods especially when there's not many 'new' places you can get to - I still can't believe I hadn't noticed the stone owl on a building in town until last year.... I mean I've only lived here 36 years (and that stone owl was added into the building a long time before that, so I can't say it wasn't there before!) 😊

yeah that's part of what I love about fall <3 and less migraines too XD
lucky!
yeah and then having to get the interfacing on which tends to need a hotter setting.
haha he's just rolled his eyes. But his girls are happy so he'll cope ;)
I gave up with the idea of interfacing behind the eyes in the end - apart from anything else, it made the fabric too stiff for my liking anyway :P laughs I see the shark has got into the idea of the tea party today ;) I had an idea to try out this rainbow coloured fake fur on making a stingray, seeing as the bear was a bit of a disaster last week.... it came out surprisingly well :D

Yeah, less migraines must be so nice for ya. :squishes:
like such a cute lil details too! I kept finding things like that in Oslo, since big parts of it have loads of old buildings with neat details. Todays architecture is so plane and dull in comparison I feel. :)

probly a good idea. lol i couldn't resist when I saw how well it worked with the table lmao. Nimah looks so cuuuttte. The bunny glasses are perfect with the jumper and bg. ooh rainbow stingray, cute :D
it would be nice, wouldn't it?
it's perfect! :D hehe thanks :D I wasn't going to use those glasses originally, but the coloured sunglasses she normally wears just didn't look right :P
^^ one rainbow furry stingray ;) ....although has a kind of HP feel about it, even though I can't work out if there is a Harry Potter animal that looks similar :P

the glasses are too cute XD The stingray is too adorbs :D looks kinda like a puff-ray lol maybe its a hybrid XD
that's a thought - maybe it's the pygmy puff I was thinking of (it looks familiar, but I just can't figure out what it is.... I've certainly never seen a furry stingray before! :P) ooo that's a snazzy outfit today, what's the coat Zoe's wearing? :D
